The salesman was nice. I explained what I was looking for and he said he could do a dealer trade. But there was no follow up or action so I sourced it myself. I was ready to fly out of state and drive the car home. The only reason why we ended up with Butler was because the other dealer in another state didn’t understand Missouri sales tax. The finance guy was visibly angry when we declined the extra warranty, gap insurance, service contract. He argued with my husband and made me feel very uncomfortable. The sales contract didn’t include the rebate and the title application included the wrong purchase amount. If I had not caught it we would have paid more taxes than we actually needed to. I’m grateful to the knowledgeable finance manager who made the necessary corrections when we returned. With the issues it just wasn’t a great experience. The salesman was probably very busy with lots of other sales and the finance guy was probably just having a bad day. I just don’t think I would return for the next car. More
