I started my career in January of 1996 as a receptionist. I immediately liked the business. After one year I started selling at our VW store and then came to Mercedes as a sales consultant. After three years of selling I took my current position as Sales Manager. I have been in this position for the last 8 years. I love coming to work each day providing a quality product to an incredible family of clients. My team is one of the best and we strive to not only exceed our clients expectations but have some fun while we are doing it! I am single and live on Long Island. I enjoy working out, spending time with my loved ones, the beach, and I very much enjoy a good laugh! (I WAS voted "most humorous" in high school!)

Mike Nekava the best. Helm bros is a beautiful place the show off very expensive cars. However, I am most impressed with Mr Nekava. I have been a customer since 2003 and leased more than 15 cars and SUVs between my immediate family Mr Nekava is very professional and extremely knowledgeable of all his products I have test him before as I do every other sales person before I work with them He know his product and he gives you all the info you need to process your transaction before signing any docs. There is never any hovering over you to make quick decisions. As a sales rep myself, clients do respect that. As a result I have sent many clients to him and they are now his loyal customers. Mr Nekava is a great sales rep as his credentials has proven, but he is absolutely a better person. I consider him my family . More

NEVER AGAIN, DO NOT GO I was labeled an exporter and told I owned 4 GLS's... I was provided no PROOF and was also informed I had a car recently exported and again, NO PROOF I was labeled an exporter and told I owned 4 GLS's... I was provided no PROOF and was also informed I had a car recently exported and again, NO PROOF PROVIDED upon request. I have one GLS in my name for my mother, her credit is not good and I did her a favor, what son wouldn't do that for his mother? she can afford to pay but because of PERSONAL reasons, her credit isn't strong. When confronted, I shown that I am currently leasing one (again for my mother) and have the insurance in my name since I have USAA and am a Veteran( who has a clean record ), you receive a $500 incentive off, so why not? Anyway, this dealership plays games, when explaining the situation, Jennifer Land told me my story was b's' and I'm lying.... Who is she to even criticize, this is life and life not perfect, my parents split and her credit was effected from the divorce. Also, I'm trading my darn car in on top of it so why would I even export anything? I work 3 jobs, I work HARD, I felt mistreated probably because of my age (i'm under 30) and the fact I can afford to pay for a 80K+ car. Anyway, Mercedes cannot even provide the information upon request and are playing games, I don't recommend doing business here. I'm financing the GLS too, I can understand the red flag if I was paying all cash but cmon. I did get loud with the staff but that's because I was mistreated, Jennifer Lang and Greg think they're slick but I'm not fooled. I understand the reason for caution but this is straight up RIDICULOUS. More

I highly recommend this dealership because of the professionalism that everyone whom I deal with demonstrated. I had been looking to lease a sedan for the last three months and narrowed my search to a BMW 328i, Audi A4 or a Mercedes Benz C300 4Matic. I dealt with others dealerships and different tricks from some sleazy car sales people. When I came to Helms Bro I met Marlon. He quickly made me feel at ease since his demeanor was lay back, not using high pressure sales techniques and was very friendly and transparent in the negotiation aspect. The next morning, after thinking about the deal more carefully, I returned to the dealership. Marlon was off that day but I had the pleasure of speaking with the General Sales Manager Jennifer Lang. And again, the level of professionalism was commendable. She took the time to carefully answering all my questions and also asked a young Sales Consultant named Wilhem Frank to assist me in looking at others lease options. He too was awesome and it became very evident that this level of professionalism is the culture of this particular dealership. More

"The best or nothing" holds true for Mercedes-Benz AND Helms Helms Bros. in Bayside has become a home away from home. Since my last review, I have purchased and leased three vehicles. A GLK 350 for my father, a Helms Bros. in Bayside has become a home away from home. Since my last review, I have purchased and leased three vehicles. A GLK 350 for my father, a E350 for myself were purchased and a GLK350 was just leased for my wife. So I believe that this brings my total number of vehicles rolled out of their doors at 5 or 6, so you can believe me when I say that I am a repeat customer! The vehicles are just that, vehicles... safe, dependable and above all, Mercedes-Benz! You know your family is safe on the road when all the distracted drivers out there are lurking, or when you are driving alone, tempting the speed limit on a clean stretch of freshly paved highway asphalt! Now, the dealership... the dealership is what counts when you make a purchase AND when you service your vehicle. I can whole heartedly say, without a doubt, that if it were not for the people that are there for me, I would not be taking the time to write this review. You hear it again and again; They treat you like family... blah, blah, blah... but I'm telling you.. they treat you like family!! From the minute you walk in, to the minute you drive off, to the minute you service your vehicle(s), to the minute you do it all over again! I have never, in my life, been treated so well.
