I had a complicated situation with trying to trade in a leased Impreza from a different Subaru dealership, before the lease was up, and with a few more scratches than I'd care to have, AND I wanted to trade up to a CrossTrek as long as I could keep the payments about the same. Well Juan Hernandez made me feel like I was the most important customer he's had all year and was incredibly generous with his time, presented TONS of option, and he made it happen. We also had been there in the past when my wife wanted to trade in an older Forrester we owned, into a new leased Forrester. Jerry Johnson is also a class act and he's helped us in the past with my wife's initial Forrester purchase. I'm not usually a big review writing person but Juan and Jerry are such class acts that I wanted to do something for them, trust me this is a good outfit they work in! Best car buying experience in my life I’m 65 and was looking for larger vehicle . I’d been to 3 dealerships prior, none Subaru . On my way to a local Hyundai dealership ) I had a Hyun I’m 65 and was looking for larger vehicle . I’d been to 3 dealerships prior, none Subaru . On my way to a local Hyundai dealership ) I had a Hyundai to trade) I stopped in here to just look. I had a Subaru Forester in the late 1980s. I was immediately greeted and assigned a salesperson, Jerry Johnson. In our casual conversation he told me how long he and others had worked there. Impressive . Jerry is mature, knowledgeable, and calming . He listened to my “ must haves”, educated me on the vehicle I was looking at, and we drove it as he explained everything feature in detail. I was going to order a car with the package and color I wanted, but in the cordial negotiation he presented a car on the lot with everything but the color I wanted. I took the deal. From then everything sped up , I was accomdated for my time restrictions, trade in, and a host of other details. I drove the new car home. The rest of the deal continued the next day where Jerry had my new car cleaned up, we reviewed the booklets and features, made an appointment for a thirty day check up, programmed my features, filled up the tank, had me tour the facility and meet the employees. Then off I went. I feel that this dealer has created a true customer satisfaction culture . Everyone I met had the same attitude . Jerry wanted me to understand the vehicle , but didn’t pressure me at all . He was supportive of my specs and needs. He did everything he said he would . I truly believe I can call or stop in at any time if there is a car issue. I got a fair price. I’m confident that my Crosstrek will last for years . Glad to be a Subaru owner again . Thanks Jerry. My first purchase at this dealership was awesome with my 2016 Forester with many packages. Well not only did I get an excellent trade-in but I also got the 2019 Forester Sport with a huge discount off the sticker price that was in my budget. I got more vehicle than I thought was possible to fit my budget. Excellent interest rate, Excellent price, Excellent Salesman second time Mr. MCPO (retired) Jerry Johnson. This man keeps in contact with his customers and will let you know when the time looks good to trade if you want to. I said why not trade and all my expectations were met. This is definitely a class "A" dealership with a great staff that will work with you to get your business and make you part of the Subaru family. This is my second Forester and I love it. We test drove an Outback, even taking it on 295 so I could see how well it handled and we used the lane departure feature, cruise control feature and the eye sight technology. He spent a lot of time explaining each item and how it is used. I purchased the vehicle 2 days later. Once again he reviewed the use of all features in the car, had rain guards installed and hooked up my phone so it's hands free. I saw AJ Miller next for financing. He was very pleasant, answered all of my questions and made the experience as stress free as possible. My last 2 vehicle purchases were very stressful and I was nervous about going through a new vehicle purchase. This was not the case with Subaru of Jacksonville. More
