Thanks for the response Mike. But to be frank I am not certain why you choose to end every response with "We are sorry that it took considerable time to identify and resolve the issue" - when the issue has clearly not been resolved. This appears to be a blanket "copy/paste" statement as I had observed this response on other posts irrespective of the actual outcome of the engagement. To further comment on your response: 1) I took a note of the mileage at the time of the drop off of the vehicle and NO miles were put on the car for approximately 4 days following the drop off. I understand that the Engineer was present onsite for that initial day only and even if he did have an opportunity to visually inspect the car, this issue requires test driving the vehicle under specific conditions which I clearly and meticulously communicated to Jim and the shop's foreman for approximately 45 minutes. That information was completely disregarded. 2) After it was clearly apparent that the SA/BMW of Flemington had no interest in pursuing this matter further, I had requested to uninstall the parts installed earlier to address a different issue. That request was completed and car test driven for 3 miles per standard service release protocol. 3) Following an update from Jim (SA) I reminded him that the issue manifests itself under specific driving conditions (60+mph) to which I had received the following response - My Engineers are too busy to continue troubleshooting your vehicle. If you feel I may be mistaking on any of the items above or believe that the above resembles professional aptitude that is consistent with my expectations of the BMW brand as an owner of an $80K vehicle as well as values and beliefs of the BMW brand in itself, please feel free to reach out to me personally to discuss this in greater detail.
