I come from a background in the restaurant industry as a chef and general manager and moved to the car industry in November of 2014. I have always been a car guy and have been active in car clubs in the Portland area for over 20 years. In my spare time I play with old cars and vintage bicycles and try to keep up with my very active son.

Great 1st time engagement with Luis over the phone. No BS and asked the right questions then gave me his offer. I looked around and found another dealer that did just the opposite but gave me a slightly bett and asked the right questions then gave me his offer. I looked around and found another dealer that did just the opposite but gave me a slightly better deal. I brought back to Luis and he got close and I paid him more because of the upfront and direct approach the first time. He could be in on the day I wanted to complete the purchase so he set me and my wife up with Jim to complete the purchase and he did a great job too. More

Never expected a sales person to listen so intently, Jim was on target, he listened to me worry & complain, th Our experience was with Jim Rutherford. Never expected a sales person to listen so intently, Jim was on target, he listened to me worry & complain, then carefully guided us to thoughts & things he heard us (my wife & I) talk about & answered in clear succinct fashion what ever questions we had. Jim was never haughty or even remotely pushy. Ironically, we did NOT buy a vehicle from them, but it was not Jim's fault. For sure it is Jim that made the experience good. We made an offer on a vehicle & albeit a low one, they never even countered. Not one dollar would they budge, could've thrown me a bone, I was very nervous & out of my comfort zone... who knows what may have transpired if they did... More
