I have always been a car guy and have been active in car clubs in the Portland area for over 20 years. Listened to learn Our experience was with Jim Rutherford. Never expected a sales person to listen so intently, Jim was on target, he listened to me worry & complain, th Our experience was with Jim Rutherford. Never expected a sales person to listen so intently, Jim was on target, he listened to me worry & complain, then carefully guided us to thoughts & things he heard us (my wife & I) talk about & answered in clear succinct fashion what ever questions we had. Jim was never haughty or even remotely pushy. Ironically, we did NOT buy a vehicle from them, but it was not Jim's fault. For sure it is Jim that made the experience good. We made an offer on a vehicle & albeit a low one, they never even countered. Not one dollar would they budge, could've thrown me a bone, I was very nervous & out of my comfort zone... who knows what may have transpired if they did... More
