As you know most of the time new car and used car salesmen kind of have a reputation. Not these guys, in my mind they were not car salesman they were gentelman and very polite and made me feel at home and comfortable. No high pressure sales tactics. We had some good time personal conversations and had a lot of fun with our salesman Demetrius. When we were sitting at our salesman's desk my wife said to him that she thought it was a little warm and stuffy and the salesman said I will take care of that and it was not long until you could feel the air and it got very comfortable in no time at all. The whole facility was very clean and comfortable. Every body there was very friendly. So to sum it up it was a very plesant and enjoyable new car purchase experience. I would highly recommend this Hyundia Dealership to any body looking to purchase a new or used Hyundia. The Baer's More

I first spoke to Randy on the phone, however when I arrived he was tied up with a customer so David stepped in and very effectively helped me. At the end of the transaction when it was time to complete arrived he was tied up with a customer so David stepped in and very effectively helped me. At the end of the transaction when it was time to complete the paperwork Randy took over and the two split the sale.It was a seamless transition. Both were extremely polite and informative, neither person was pushy in any way, it was like dealing with a longtime friend. I have to add that the sale could not have been completed without the above and beyond help from Jimmy the Manager. This being a used car, he offered to complete numerous items in order for the car to meet my satisfaction without any pressure. In addition these folks made me a fair offer on my trade in which was imerative to the sale.Again without any pressure they voluntarily placed me in a loaner car for a few days until the additional work was completed on my car. This was reassuring to me since I lived an hour away and did not want any additional concern of what if I was to get in an accident, and the terms of the deal were at risk. When I returned for the vehicle which was ready in a timely manner, everything discussed was completed to my satisfaction and the car was clean with a full tank of gas.I had visited other dealerships in Central Florida and was extremely pleased here with the straight forward honest dealings and ethics. Decided after buying a 1998 Tahoe in 2003 and driving it for the last 8 years that a 13 year old vehicle just wasn't going to cut it any longer (especially after replacing the fuel pump last Saturday for $6 for the last 8 years that a 13 year old vehicle just wasn't going to cut it any longer (especially after replacing the fuel pump last Saturday for $698! Got on the internet on Monday and started looking and Sedans in the mid 20K range and narrowed my choice down to Toyota Camry or Honda Accord....until I discovered the Hyundai Sonata. It beats the pants off both of the previous cars, so I had to drive one. I discovered that Hyundai of St. Augustine which is a 30 minute drive from me had the biggest Hyundai inventory in North Florida so although there were other dealers nearer to me, I took the drive with my 5 year old. I met up with Joey Cassata last night after scheduling a test drive on their website through live chat on Monday Night. Joey was in a word, awesome. He was not pushy, he listened (which is very important to me, he asked good questions and he new the answer to every question I asked about the Sonata. After sitting with him and Jimmy Feliciano the sale manager, they ran my credit and determined that I was about a 90% certainty to get a great 3.9% on the car (despite him saying that they could have locked me in at 8.2 right there and then. So they let me take the car home for the night and Joey called me at 10am this morning to say that I was approved for the lower APR and to come back this evening and sign the papers. I showed up tonight at 6.30 and he Joey took the car from me right away to have it detailed, we went in and signed the papers which were all in order and exactly what we had discussed in person and on the phone. The entire process last night including test drive took and hour and 30 minutes and then another 45 minutes today signing papers and going over the cars features etc. I have bought probably 7 or 8 cars in the last 18 years and this was BY FAR the best experience I have ever had. They got me the car I wanted, at an APR that was better than I thought I could qualify for and I never once felt like I was being pressured or hustled into anything. Thank You to Joey for being really good at his job and thank you to Jimmy for doing what he said he was pretty sure he could do, which was get me a great APR. As of last Saturday, 1/22/11, I actively started looking for a car. I started off at Coggin Honda of St. Augustine, but they were not able to accommodate my needs. In addition, I kind of felt as though I was being pressured into "making a deal". I had to leave and I said I would contact them the next day. They contacted me and we went back and forth with numbers, but it still didn't work and then they used the "well, there's another salesman working with someone else on the car that you liked". I told them to give it to them. On Sunday, 1/23/11, I decided to go to Hyundai because I REALLY liked the look of the new Sonata and was curious as to how it drove. I was greeted by Demetrius Davis and he helped me find the model that would fit into my budget. I didn't even have to turn the key to know that I really liked the feel and look of the interior. Demetrius took me on a test drive and after that, I was hooked. He was more than patient with me because I really didn't know what color I wanted. With him I never felt rushed, pressured, nor did I feel like he was getting "tired" of me. I apologized several times because I was tired of ME. (ha ha). While talking price, we were referred to Jimmy Feliciano, and he tried to get the payoff value from Toyota. He had no luck, so he said he would call me on Monday. We told him we didn't want to go over a certain amount and he worked with us every step of the way. After we decided to purchase the vehicle, we went back on Thursday to pick it out. Now I had to find another color, because I changed my mind on the color I had originally picked out. Demetrius was MORE than helpful and patient while he contacted another dealer to find the color I liked. That didn't work out, so I decided on the Black Plum Pearl instead. On Friday, 1/28/11, I went to pick up my car. It was waiting for me as I arrived and when I touched it, it felt rough, not that smooth "just waxed" feeling. I brought it to the attention of Demetrius and he in turn showed Wade. Wade agreed and sent it back to be re-detailed. He said it was going to be a while, so they offered me a loaner vehicle to go about my day. When I came back, I saw Tinsley and he took me back to my car. The hood still felt funny and he let me stay with him while he clay-barred the hood again. He wasn't going to let me leave until he knew I was happy. As a matter of fact, I may be looking for an additional vehicle in August before my daughter goes to college and I will check with Hyundai of St. Augustine before I go anywhere else. I came into the St. Augustine Hyundai dealership back in October to just look around and get a ballpark price range on new cars, as well as their pros and cons as compared to other dealership's cars. I was helped by a very nice, very professional young man named Josh. He has a wealth of knowledge about vehicles, especially turbo-charged ones, and explained out his answers to all of my questions. I wasn't near as pleased with the help/information I was given at the other dealerships I visited, and will definitely be coming back here for my next car. I've already recommended them to several friends. More

I recently purchased a 2011 Genesis and was hesitant until a co-worker mentioned how Hyundai had improved drastically. From the 1st day I discussed purchasing my Genesis to Richard Robets (Salesman) the whole Hyundai of St. Augustine have been EXCELLENT (From the Dealership Manager, Salesman (Richard Robets), Service Department including the mechanics). Bottom-line, I am very appreciative of TRUE Customer Service and not just the buzz word of the month.
