Buying the car was a very pleasant experience, the Salesman mitch was excellent, very accommodating in every way. The manager jim was outstanding. Worst customer experience I have ever had dealing with Sales Manager Jimmy LaFlamme. He is quickly irritated with simple questions which he views as wasting his time. At that point he makes comments that Sales Manager Jimmy LaFlamme. He is quickly irritated with simple questions which he views as wasting his time. At that point he makes comments that are personal attacks. Do not do business with Exeter Subaru. I got a better deal and respected as a customer at a nearby Subaru dealership. I would give zero stars if possible. More

Worst experience of my entire life with this dealership. Purchased a Subaru Outback limited trim level which had some slight smoke smell in the vehicle (2017) model. Dealership said they would attempt to remove any smell with special equipment, returned next morning with my husband to pick up the vehicle. The odor was actually worse and now had a strong obnoxious chemical smell. They wanted to treat the vehicle further to remove the odor which I declined since they made it worse in the first place. We asked to cancel the purchase. The dealership not only refused to let us but were so combative and rude to us it was unbelievable. The GM walked out the door without even discussing with us as he had “another appointment”then to make matters worse the general sales manager threatened to call police to have us thrown off the premises. We left to avoid further incident and embarrassment in the showroom of people. Trust me, you do not want to do business with these people, they are bad news. Go to a reputable dealer who sells cars that are not wholesale auction vehicles and you know the history of where it has been. You will be happy you did. The new car sales manager is not listed below but was the most arrogant person we have ever met. Mr. LaFlame who threatened to call police turned from Mr. nice to Mr. nasty once the sales contract was signed and finished. On top of everything else my odometer reading doesn’t match the car fax report which is 6k miles higher. Very sketchy. The front brakes are so low we need to replace them and we are talking about a purchase price of 21k on this vehicle. Not happy at all and reported to NH Attorney Generals office of consumer protection bureau. I will be following up with the NH Auto Dealership Association to voice my concerns as to the handling of treatment from these people. More

I purchased a used vehicle from them. Will skip the whole bite and switch around the buying process. On a few occasions I was assured by the sales manager Jimmy, that their mechanics fully inspected the car bite and switch around the buying process. On a few occasions I was assured by the sales manager Jimmy, that their mechanics fully inspected the car and everything was perfect with it. I paid a way over KBB for that vehicle, so I was expecting to be be treated fairly at least. Long story short. I picked up the car and on the way home tried to adjust backrest on the drivers seat, well it wasn't possible because it wasn’t working, as well as the passenger seat one. It was late in the evening, pass their closing time. Next day I wrote email to my sales person, tried to call Jimmy. Jimmy ignored my call, Ann ignored my email. I haven’t even heard back from anyone. This is what a customer service means to this people. Im brutally disappointed, they aren’t honest, or different than any crook out there. More

Mitch and Jimmy were extremely helpful in providing information about the vehicles, searching inventory, test drives, answering our questions and overall great customer experience. Mitch went the extra mile to get cars ready for us to test drive as it was a blustery/cold day, but he warmed them up and got them ready for us. We were appreciative of Mitch and Jimmy’s knowledge with the various tiers of vehicles and options available. We walked away feeling proud and lucky to now be part of the Subaru family and to have a friendly/comfortable sales/service staff near us for future use. More
