Great day at the Subaru Dealership! My lease was up on my very first Subaru Crosstrek and I really wanted to keep it. Uncomfortable experience, time intensive, and degrading. I spent just over 5 hours to buy a new car from Joe. While he was polite at first, and as the other reviews mention he was patient, he was very abrup I spent just over 5 hours to buy a new car from Joe. While he was polite at first, and as the other reviews mention he was patient, he was very abrupt and disingenuous during price discussion. Joe made both myself and my girlfriend very uncomfortable with the way he spoke down to us throughout the interaction. He made a comment also putting down my girlfriend's brother who wasn't even present for the sale. If I hadn't already been set on buying a car that day, I would have left and found a new salesman or dealership. I nearly did anyway. He seemed very annoyed that I wanted to take a few more minutes to ask questions and look more closely at the offer prior to signing making a $25,000 purchase. When leaving the dealership I felt run down and exhausted, not excited about a new car. The rest of the dealership appeared clean, and very friendly. Jennifer was a particular bright spot as she was friendly throughout all interactions, relaxed, and easy to talk to. I understand that Joe was doing his job as a salesman, which I"m sure is not an easy job, but I was quite uncomfortable with the interactions we had. I am not unhappy with the price of the car, but rather the customer service and lack of friendliness. More
