Where do I even begin? From the first sit down meeting, I had a bad gut feeling. I understand salemen are trying to make sales, but if I'm spending tens of thousands of dollars, I'd like for it to be a pleasant experience. Before we even got to look at the car, Austin was asking all the preliminary questions (what I currently drive - BMW X5, fully paid off, etc.) and then wanted to discuss financing. I already had a preapproved loan from my bank prior to coming in, and he insinuated I had bad credit before I told him my credit score that I literally just got from my bank that day and he made a snarky response like "sure you do." We go out to test drive the car and he kept referring to it as a Kia...it was a Hyundai...he knew nothing about the car when we had done our research - which is fine, he sells Toyotas, not Hyundais. Then we go for a test drive where he proceeds to make offhanded comments the entire time. While we were test driving, we noticed the wireless charging wasn't working properly which was our main concern. He didn't take a look at it or offer to look into it or ask someone. Just said, "there's a warranty on it and there's a Hyundai right next door." Sorry that I don't want to drive a car off the lot just to take it to service. It doesn't make me feel confident about the quality of the vehicle. Anywho, we get back and he's just badgering us about making an offer and if not to "part as friends." We drove an hour each way to test drive the car, so yes, we had every intention of making them a reasonable offer. But Austin consistently insinutated that we would make a lowball offer resulting in no sale or that I'd have bad credit or could not afford the vehicle or that we were just there for fun. Between that and the wireless charging issue, we left. The next day, they dropped the price of the vehicle, so buyers, beware! We reported this to management, and they didn't seem great either. I've called the General Manager and left him a voicemail without a return phone call either. I'd save yourself the energy, money, and time, and take your business elsewhere. Literally anywhere else. Good sales people, slow transaction We bought a used car from the dealership and had a great experience with our sales team (John Barfield). He was very diligent in answering all of my q We bought a used car from the dealership and had a great experience with our sales team (John Barfield). He was very diligent in answering all of my questions and making sure i knew everything i needed to know about the vehicle before i purchased it. To complicate matters, i was 1500 miles away so i really relied on his assistance. The finance manager (Quinn Rosenstein) was super helpful, and in more than one way was able to save me additional money on the purchase and warranty. The issue i had was this: it took 6 hours to complete the transaction. I found this to be very frustrating. We had pre-negotiated the price of the vehicle and arranged financing all before traveling the 1500 miles to get the vehicle. I do not understand why it took 6 hours to go from review of the vehicle to closing of the transaction. The car was sold and finance arranged before we arrived.. This should have been no more than a 1 hour, or 2 hour max deal. We spent copias amounts of time waiting for the "next phase", hours and hours between talking to sales rep (Alex as John was off when we arrived) to getting to finance department. We arrived at 11:30am and left just after 5:00PM and were only offered popcorn to eat while we waited. I would suggest bringing something to do while you wait. I strongly suggest that they revamp the process. . Very frustrating. More
