This is my first Ford in many years. I was attracted by online information about the Mustang Mach-e, and placed an online reservation. My neighbor (a Ford rep at another dealership) recommended I work with online information about the Mustang Mach-e, and placed an online reservation. My neighbor (a Ford rep at another dealership) recommended I work with John Guido Jr. That turned out to be a very good recommendation. Even well before my car arrived, John was very helpful in answering questions and finding information for me. I recognize that Ford is using a new "model" for how this car is marketed and sold to customers, and John was good at navigating the new approach on my behalf. Anthony was helpful in getting the tech set up on delivery day. Jerry made a great first impression in helping me with a couple of service items. I've been a customer at another make's dealership for about 20 years, so I'm new to AH Ford. So far, I feel it's going to be a good relationship. More

It is extremely disappointing to go to a Ford dealership in which I have bought 3 vehicles from and was hoping to continue a relationship with them by bringing my car in for service. Yesterday I set up an a in which I have bought 3 vehicles from and was hoping to continue a relationship with them by bringing my car in for service. Yesterday I set up an appointment for a simple oil change and walked out with a bill that totaled $484.53. I was only in the Service Department from 9:31 am until 10:25 am, which my car was probably serviced for 30-40 minutes. This is stated on the invoice that I received. I was told that there were additional items that needed to be replaced and my car only has 47,000 miles on it. While I understand that normal maintenance is required the bill/breakdown made me feel like I was taken advantage of. I have heard stories of how women go in for car repairs and walk out with bills much higher than they should be. I am now one of those people and it is embarrassing. My oil change was a deal for $39.99, however the final total was $87.22. (Parts $37.27 and then Labor of $49.95). How is the labor more than the actual oil change? I have never seen an oil change that has separate charges for this. A regular oil change can range in cost from $39.99 to $50.00 and I spend $50 in labor? Then it was recommended that my cabin filter be replaced, which was $44.23 for parts and then $24.95 in labor. I was then recommended to get a transmission fluid exchange, which was a grand total of $287.12, which included Parts $87.17 and then Labor $199.95. I checked with Ford via their website and it is recommended that this is done around 100,000 miles, however my car is only at 48,000 miles. The only thing that made sense on the bill was the engine filter, which was $21.95, but no labor was charged, however this takes 1-2 minutes to replace. Again I understand that items need to be changed such as filters, however the labor costs are insane at this place. Out of the $484.53 bill $274.85 was labor costs, which included an oil change, transmission exchange, and replacing 2 filters? 54 minutes I was there? This 54 minutes includes checking in, taking the vehicle back, and then parking it out front. So the going rate for labor is $274.85 for maybe 35-40 minutes of work? I WAS ROBBED!!!!! FORD OF ARLINGTON HEIGHTS SHOULD BE ASHAMED!! So should the Service Advisor Victor Villanueva. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER!!!!! I will also be following up with the BBB and FORD Corporate! I will also never buy from this dealership again and no longer purchase FORD Vehicles! More
