I brought my 2 year old id. 4 in due to something dragging under the car. The car was in for service on a Monday and diagnosed with a plastic shield that needed to be replaced fo 4 in due to something dragging under the car. The car was in for service on a Monday and diagnosed with a plastic shield that needed to be replaced for $320. They did not have the part and the part was not considered under warranty. I asked how this plastic shield could get damaged. Jon told me I must have run over something. The only thing I drove over was a speed bump. I asked for a loaner i was told they did not have any. I made it clear i needed my car back on Tuesday. The part was ordered but did not come in on Tuesday. I was told the truck driver quit on the job. I said I could no longer be without a car for a third day. So I will come in to pick up the car and find another dealer who could fix the car and provide a loaner car. Funny thing Jon told me he thought a loaner car was coming in that day! I picked up the loaner. It was a new Jetta 2026 with less than 100 miles on it with a may 2026 inspection sticker! Hmm I am guessing they took a car off the lot and turned it into a loaner car. Funny how I can get a loaner when I say I will go to another dealer! No one should be without their car for 3 days to fix a problem from driving over a speed bump. I have reached out to vw corporate and they have opened a good will case on this service and problem. I have purchased or leased 5 vw in 8 years. I expected better treatment and service. Especially since my current less ends in February 2027. More

I immediately sent the receipt still waiting for my reimbursement check. Not the first time service department could not do an inspection. February 2026 and April 2026.
