I want to thank Phil Puleo for finding the car (color combination) that I was looking for. He was very nice and professional. Also the gentleman who handled my credit check was also very nice but I didn’t get his name. Sorry. A special shout out to Josh Pena who was my salesman. He was professional, knowledgeable and kind. I changed my mind a few times on colors and my payment options and he wasn’t phased in the least. Just went with the flow. I even went back the next day and asked him how to work something on the dashboard and again was not phased and helped figure it out Thank you Josh 🙂 Thank you Mazda for a very pleasant experience. No fuss, No muss and NO PRESSURE! I would most definitely and absolutely recommend this dealership! More

From the first visit, never felt pressured to buy anything or "Do a Deal". Josh Pena our sales representative, provided a lot of information regarding the cars we were looking at. Left the dealer with his business card and brochures on both cars and said we would be back the next business day. After visiting a few other car dealers, (none Mazda). At every one, we were pressured to get a deal done today. Needless to say, the buying experience was not enjoyable. Returned to Mazda the next day, and Josh met us, remembered the cars we were interested in and set up test drive. Loved to car, sat down to discuss the numbers, and walked out a short time later owning a new car. Loved the dealer. Josh was very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend both. More

She leased a new Mazda CX5 Sport and I just picked up Mazda3 Touring Hatchback. Our Sales manager was Phil Puleo, a great, courteous man of his word. He gave us good deals even though we didn't have perfect credit scores. He always goes out of his way to make a deal that works for you. My sister dealt with a salesman Josh Pena and was very pleased and I was helped by a super friendly and knowledgeable Joe Bonavita. Our time spent in the showroom was as pleasant as ever. They truly treated us like family not because we're returning customers, but because they treat everyone this way. They never pressure you to buy anything at any time! How many dealers do you know that do that? They always smile, they're friendly and tell you all the info about cars that you need. It's totally up to you to decide on purchase or lease. And believe me when I say that you would want to get a car from a dealer with such a great attitude. Thank you Wantagh Mazda and especially Phil for this awesome experience. More

Great customer service turned bad Summer of 2017 I went to this dealership to lease a Mazda CX-3. I can’t remember the mans name who helped me but I got nothing but kindness and 5 star Summer of 2017 I went to this dealership to lease a Mazda CX-3. I can’t remember the mans name who helped me but I got nothing but kindness and 5 star customer service while there. I thought for sure I would be back at the end of my lease to get something new from Wantagh Mazda since they were so great. Unfortunately my circumstances changed and I find myself about halfway through my current lease and needing to get into a larger vehicle, and I knew that switching from the cx-3 to the cx-5 would be a solution. My first instinct was to call Wantagh Mazda to see what my options are, and whoever I got on the phone was rude and condescending. Instead of giving me my options he basically laughed at me and told me there was nothing they could do. After asking to at least hear my options of how much I would have to pay to get out of my lease and into a new one he said he would call me back. When he called back his tune still hadn’t changed and he told me once again only that it would be very expensive, they couldn’t do anything for me, and that I should just deal with it and wait it out (which is not an option for me). At this point I asked if they could do anything for me at all since I’m a returning customer of Mazda and the dealership, and he said “yeah yeah but it doesn’t help.” Now I find myself calling other dealerships of other car brands and getting solutions to my problem. I’m incredibly disappointed and appalled at the way I was treated - something I never expected after my original experience. I would love to be a happy customer that could post a review about how great my experience was but I’m sad to say that now my only clear memory was the disrespect I received this last time. More

Lease of Mazda CX-5 I have bought a lot of new and used cars over the years but have never leased one before. Josh helped me into a new cx5 lease and it was great. It too I have bought a lot of new and used cars over the years but have never leased one before. Josh helped me into a new cx5 lease and it was great. It took no time at all and he made the process easy. He also gave me the best lease price out of 3 other dealers I visited. If your searching for a Mazda I would definitely recommend the Wantagh Mazda and highly recommend asking for josh. More

Zoom Zoom I did the usual research on the 2 or 3 vehicles I was considering for a lease and begain the “dreaded” dealer visits on the Black Friday weekend. Eac I did the usual research on the 2 or 3 vehicles I was considering for a lease and begain the “dreaded” dealer visits on the Black Friday weekend. Each visit , Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Hyundai, was the typical “what do I need to do to get you in the car today” with the usual visit by the manager etc etc. Pricing ALWAYS started high and slowly came down as I expressed my requirements. This all changed when I went to Wantagh Mazda. I met Ken the self proclaimed manager of “smiles & laughs”. He listened to my needs and gave me honest answers and pricing and in two days I was in my new Mazda. Supprisingly for car buying I did smile and had a few laughs as well.
