I purchased a 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan this may and when I took it to another Volkswagen Dealer in the Chicago area to have some parts replaced that were under warranty and get new tires they found SEVERAL th took it to another Volkswagen Dealer in the Chicago area to have some parts replaced that were under warranty and get new tires they found SEVERAL things wrong with this car I had just purchased. The alignment was unfixable with the current parts due to a prior accident where the full details were not revealed to me. The date and time on the car could not be reset due to a damaged antenna and the manager Julian Perez told me that it was due to a Verizon issue linked to the GPS which wasn't true. They were concealing an issue with a damaged antenna that wasn't disclosed or fixed. The car was filthy when I was given the keys with dog hair every where and it smelled like bad body odor. I had to have it professionally detailed right away to get of the smell that the dealership tried to mask with a very strong air freshener. My license plate holder was broken (tilted) and unfixable and I had to pay out of pocket for that as well. Also the windshield was replaced and they broke the mechanism that holds the rear view mirror in place which fell apart right after I brought the car home. The dealership was extremely unprofessional and should not have purchased my car from there. I would highly discourage anyone from buying a car here. More

Avery and Julian lied to me over and over again and I came in with an offer from online and they gave me a price 7k above that offer. I was flat out lied to multiple times and then personally insulted by Mr. Perez which was simply unacceptable. Mr. Perez as manager of this dealership deliberately tried to conceal the milage on a new Tiguan insulted by Mr. Perez which was simply unacceptable. Mr. Perez as manager of this dealership deliberately tried to conceal the milage on a new Tiguan as having seven (7) miles when it really had over 10,000 miles. Then tried to tell me it was "not used”, it was a corporate vehicle bought back by VW to sell as new. An asinine explanation as I was told by the sales rep that the car qualified as “certified” meaning pre-owned… i.e. used. Further insulting was when I asked what they would sell this 10,000 mile “new” vehicle for… I was to the price would be the same as the same vehicle parked next to at with less than ten (10) miles on it. Now everyone knows a vehicle depreciates the second it leaves the dealership so caught in a lie - this man decided to laughably hold his ground rather than negotiate. I would advise anyone wishing to business with the dealership to avoid doing business with Mr Perez as he has proven to be dishonest and rude. More
