Great Experience! I found the car I was looking for on the Heritage Honda Parkville website. They quickly confirmed that it was available and set up an appointment for I found the car I was looking for on the Heritage Honda Parkville website. I've purchased a lot of cars over the past 16 years and I understand the tactics sales consultants and dealers use. James and I communicated via phone/email for a week as I shopped other dealers. Local Honda dealers OTD price was substantially higher than Heritage. I got an approval through Honda Financial and went in. After some negotiating with Mitch and Brandon, we sealed the deal. I settled for an in stock 2022 Pilot Touring instead of the SE. At the time, I wasn't interested in trading in my 2018 Toyota, but returned a few days later and sold it. Over the last 21 months, I have purchased/leased 2 vehicles and sold 2 vehicles to Heritage Honda. Mitch, Jamie, Justin and James are all personable and I will continue to purchase from Heritage Honda Parkville. More

So I walked into the dealership and told them I wanted to lease a 2022 Honda Accord. They brought me a price of $1200 a month to which I told them there is no chance I’m paying that. Then they said ok unders lease a 2022 Honda Accord. They brought me a price of $1200 a month to which I told them there is no chance I’m paying that. Then they said ok understood and then put a price of $600 a month in front of me. That should be enough to tell you what kind of business this is. We finally came to an agreement on a number and my wife and I gave them our information to submit for approval. I told them I was going to go home and I’ll be back in a few hours and to call me when they have the approval for the lease. So about an hour later I start getting several notifications that my wife’s credit and my credit had been run 8 times with various banks!!! We immediately locked our credit and called Liz I asked why they were running our credit with banks if I was only interested in leasing? They said “oh we thought you were interested in a purchase if not a lease” AT NO POINT DID I TELL THEM I WANTED TO PURCHASE. The sales manager then said “well you signed the credit app so we can run your credit as many times as we want to get an approval.” The GM then called and said he was sorry but that doesn’t take away the inquiries. Then said they couldn’t get us approved for a lease which makes ZERO Sense because I got an approval on a lease through HONDA. Not sure how anyone could trust this dealership at all. It would be one thing if I just didn’t get approved for the lease but to take it upon themselves to “Do what they want” with my credit is BAD BUSINESS. More
