I had made arrangements for several repairs, totaling about $2000, which was the max I wanted to spend. During the repair, an additional issue was discovered, related to an agreed upon repair. When I was informed, I chose to do the additional repair, but asked that another repair be postponed, to keep within my budget. However, I was informed that all other repair had been completed. I agreed to the additional repair but was not happy that I was not given an option to stay within budget. Another bizarre issue was that I was informed my car was ready for pickup—yet when I arrived over 2 hours later, the car was in fact not available, it was at the car wash! I discussed with the staff the ridiculousness of telling a client a car was ready when in fact it was not. Several staff present just stared at me until finally one said that “ready “ just meant the repair was complete. So I guess if I had gone promptly, the car simply would not have been washed. And since washing is an extra service, I guess I can’t expect it. Finally, I am coming from another V W dealership that I found much friendlier and efficient. More
