This experience raises serious concerns not only about service quality but also about potential unethical practices. After fulfilling all conditions for my leased vehicle's buyout in January 2024, I was dismayed to learn that the dealership delayed and eventually voided my warranty application without any justification. EG Assurance's confirmation that the dealership submitted the application with a $0 value and then nullified it indicates a disturbing lack of responsibility, directly affecting my contractual warranty rights. This situation has led me to question the dealership's motives. It seems they may have intended to retain the warranty fees without providing the actual service, possibly banking on the chance that customers might not require services or would simply utilize the dealership's service center. This speculative behavior, if true, is not only unethical but also deceitful, reflecting poorly on the dealership's integrity and customer care. Given these issues, I urge potential customers to approach Shottenkirk Honda Huntsville with caution. The lack of transparency and accountability I've encountered is unacceptable and not what one would expect from a Honda-affiliated dealership. To Honda Corporate: this matter requires your immediate attention to prevent similar incidents and uphold your brand's reputation. As for other consumers, I recommend seeking services elsewhere to avoid potential financial and service-related disappointments. More

I purchased a 2017 Honda Pilot for $22,000 on 9/16. On the way home, the Emissions System Problem light came on. I messaged a picture of this to the salesperson the next day and he assured me it woul On the way home, the Emissions System Problem light came on. I messaged a picture of this to the salesperson the next day and he assured me it would be fixed under warranty. We live over an hour away so we scheduled an appointment for 9/28 because of our work schedules. During our visit, they replaced the fuel injectors, and told me that that would fix the problem. Eight days later, the light came back on again. I took it back to the service department, expecting them to fix the issue under warranty, but instead, I was told less than 30 minutes that the front catalyst was bad and that it was not covered under the warranty we had purchased. They wanted to charge me over $1600 to repair the front catalyst. Either the service department is incompetent, or they intentionally tried to deceive me while I could still return the vehicle by putting a Band-Aid on the problem when they replaced the fuel injectors. Had I known that the vehicle needed almost $2000 in repairs we would not have purchased the vehicle for $22,000! There is no way that the dealership did not know that this was a problem before we purchased the vehicle as the light turned on literally on our drive home. This is the most expensive vehicle purchase we have ever made and I cannot believe that Shottenkirk Honda will not stand behind the product they sold me. There is no way I would ever recommend this dealership to anyone again. This is a very poor and deceptive business practice. More

Don't Place A DEPOSIT! !!!!I reached out to this dealership for a new vehicle. I was confirmed of getting a vehicle the following day from a sister lot but would need to pla !!!!I reached out to this dealership for a new vehicle. I was confirmed of getting a vehicle the following day from a sister lot but would need to place a $500 deposit to hold this vehicle. Each day passed with no confirmation of getting the vehicle, I was told due to the weather, the other vehicle to swap hasn't came in, we didn't have time and etc. . I was able to secure the same kind of vehicle at another dealership in one day. I notified this dealership of my deposit and was told it was nonrefundable. I even asked management to apply that amount to their parts dept with no response. I have left voicemails everyday along with a detailed email to the general manager Ken Boustani with no reply. Please customers, go elsewhere if this is how a business is treating their customers. More
