I started here at Smythe Volvo at the age of 18 as a porter. Over the last 30 years I became an Apprentice Mechanic, Mechanic, Sales Consultant, Sales Manager, General Manager, Owner then President/CEO. My favorite aspect of working at Smythe Volvo is the interaction with our customers. It's a pleasure to get to know them personally and to see them happy with our level of service. My favorite Volvo model is the 1965 P1800. It's a sporty and extremely durable vehicle that signifies the heritage of Volvo. It's silhouette can be seen in the Smythe Volvo logo. Outside of work my complete focus is on my wonderful wife and six children.

An exceptional experience from start to finish I have never had a Volvo before, but I can say that I will likely never drive another brand--and that is in large part due to my experience at Smythe I have never had a Volvo before, but I can say that I will likely never drive another brand--and that is in large part due to my experience at Smythe Volvo. I have worked with many different car dealers over the years, and I have never seen a team who cares more or has more of a GENUINE service mentality. Every person here seems to be dedicated to ensuring that you are cared for from the moment you walk in the doors until the moment you leave with a car--and frankly, even after you leave with your car. When they say call or stop in at any time if you need help, they mean it! They are extraordinarily professional, knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about the Volvo brand. They took so much time explaining every feature of the car I got and never seemed rushed at all. Their only concern is to ensure your comfort. There is a distinct culture at Smythe Volvo, and it is evident with every interaction. All of the people there are eager to help and seem to truly enjoy what they do. I can't say enough how this was so much better than any other car dealer experience I've ever had--even ones I thought were exceptional. This is a special place and I feel lucky not only to have a new Volvo XC60, but to have gotten this car from Smythe Volvo. I will be telling everyone I know who needs a car to go here! More

Unexpectedly better than the best service ever. Long time patron of this dealership, my family had bought over 5 vehicles here. All serviced and maintained by the staff. My most recent purchase came days after an accident involving one of the above mentioned vehicles. The transaction and negotiation was pleasant, the attention was very personal and I felt well taken care of. Then the car suffered a problem with the crank case ventilation and the breather box and while I had bought the car “as is” the team at Smythe (Tina, Mike, and Dina included) notified me that an otherwise 1500$ repair would be done for me gratis. This is a top tier service and products supplier of all things Volvo and I want those guys and everyone out there in Internet land to know that you can go other places, but you would be wasting your time. More

Top Notch Sales My husband leased an XC70 and when the lease on my car was up, my father-in-law gifted us with one of his older cars for my husband to use as a statio My husband leased an XC70 and when the lease on my car was up, my father-in-law gifted us with one of his older cars for my husband to use as a station car. However, his XC70 still had a lot of time left on the lease but it was not a large enough car for me to handle the kids activities and carpools etc. Eric was amazing at helping us to get out of the XC70 lease and into a lease on a new XC90. The process was seamless and he even recommended the color, denim blue, which I have already gotten so many compliments on! And I am absolutely in LOVE with my XC90. I never knew an SUV could drive so beautifully and be so functional at the same time. And Eric made the entire process truly enjoyable! We will definitely be back! More
