I grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in telecommunications-journalism. For many years I was a news reporter, producer, and anchor. I started out in college on radio working for both NPR and CBS News. After college, I made the switch to television working for both ABC and NBC, where I was part of a team that won numerous awards, including an Emmy. My next job brought me to Tucson, but I was feeling uneasy in journalism, and after a break, I decided to try my hand at car sales. I've been doing it ever since. It's fun, and I enjoy meeting all sorts of people and seeing all sorts of cool cars. I hope to meet you soon!

Midnight Oil Having waited for over fifteen years to get to the point where I could finally get a new Outback, I felt entitled to being a little picky. After resea Having waited for over fifteen years to get to the point where I could finally get a new Outback, I felt entitled to being a little picky. After researching the '16s for a couple months, a situation arose making it more beneficial to pick up a car rather than wait the 2+ months to order it. After searching the inventories of what seemed like every dealership on the west coast for 2 weeks, I finally found the car I would have ordered on Tucson Subaru's website. Unfortunately it was on a Sunday, it was 10pm, and I was at work. I had a sneaking feeling Murphy's Law would engage and send someone else to the dealership to buy it in the morning. I sent an email of interest and asking for a quote anyways, and imagine my surprise when I got a reply within 20 minutes from Internet Sales Manager Kevin Gribble, with a pdf offer sheet on the car and an invitation to ask more questions, which over the next 1 - 2 hours he continued to do. By 8am the next morning I had a hold deposit placed on the Outback. One week later to the day, I was driving it home to Nevada. And wouldn't you know it, the next morning the car was being looked at by another buyer until the sales person saw "SOLD" written on the keys. Murphy tried, but I won this one, thanks to Kevin's late night efforts. The experience at the dealership (formalities, paper signing, yada yada yada) was fine. Everyone was super friendly. Wouldn't say enjoyable, but only because it's not supposed to be enjoyable - it's everybody's least favorite part of the entire car buying experience. Kinda like saying you had a good time signing your mortgage. But as far as such things go, it was fine, and passed reasonably quickly, which is about as high a praise as the experience can expect to earn! More

He honored True Car pricing so there was no high pressure haggling. Visiting the finance guy was an entirely different experience. Perhaps, this is just how they are trained to operate all most dealerships. He tried to have me sign paperwork with crossed out numbers. He was very unclear about pricing. He kept pointing to the number $483. I did not realize that this was the monthly payment if I had chosen the extended warranty with security alarm and paint protection add-ons. By the way he sold it, I thought the entire package costed $483. He did not explain that this would be my new monthly payment. I was quite surprised when the dealer invoice I nearly signed stated $2150! Consumer Reports advises against extended warranties for reliable cars like Subarus. In addition, paint protection is not recommended by most posters on auto forums or amazon.com. *work with Kevin *use True Car pricing *decline all extras the finance guy tries to sell you = and you will have a 5 star experience! More
