I have lived in Tucson for 30 years. I moved down from Phoenix to go to the University of Arizona, I never saw a reason to move back. Great new car! I was in the hunt for a new car after my 1999 Civic reached the end of its life, and only looked at Subaru because a friend mentioned offhand the grea I was in the hunt for a new car after my 1999 Civic reached the end of its life, and only looked at Subaru because a friend mentioned offhand the great deal that she and her husband had gotten on a car that they love. I test drove a certified pre-owned Forester (as well as a bunch of other vehicles at different dealerships) and was completely impressed with the Subaru. Kevin, the sales-person, was great about giving me the out-the-door pricing with no pressure to buy. I found later that evening that with the active duty military pricing, a brand new Forester would actually cost close to or a bit less than the pre-owned, and Kevin emailed the out-the-door pricing for several different Foresters. He was prompt in his responses, informative, and I never felt like he was pushing me for a sale. I waited several weeks for the color Forester that I wanted to come in, and he kept me updated on the arrival date throughout the process. It was an easy, painless car-buying experience and my husband and I are very happy with our Forester! More

The spouse had her previous ride (2012 Prius) totaled and after the insurance tango, we had a set amount of money at hand to start the process all over again, something we really didn't want to do. Yet, we did our due diligence online, checked out the major sites. Read the reviews, read the ratings on the dealerships, taking into account the usual set of misconceptions and hurt feelings and decided to test drive three vehicles. What it came down to was the way that we were treated and handled at Tucson Subaru. Not to say that other dealerships were lacking (although one certainly was) but they didn't hard sell us. Let us drive the vehicle we wanted, pointed out the differences between the versions for sale of the model that we were interested in (Forrester). Then they let the car sell us. Very low key and understated, no pressure. The finance guys were on their game, personable and willing to go into as much detail as needed and the sales staff wanting to make sure that if we had questions later, we were welcome to bring them along as we had them. There wasn't any stress on our end, figured out what we wanted, they actually had in stock, in the color desired. Money changed hands, papers were signed, even though it was late, I didn't feel hurried (if anything, you simply want to drive away right away... but hey) and they took the time to make sure we had what we needed. Overall, it was quite possibly the best experience we've had in buying a car. We did our homework, they understood that, kept it professional and low key. As such, everyone we dealt with was polite and eager to help however it was needed, no sale people jumping claims, no finance guys complaining about credits scores and financing options. No hard sell on the warranties, just statements and options and think it over. refreshing to be able to leave a dealership with a smile and not be exhausted. More
