After finding our needs (for the same Chevrolet/ford) he suggested the Forester would meet our requirements and much more. Well after they test drove and found out the deal we could get - well my wife proved me wrong and now my mother in-law is the one you see driving a new Subaru with a big smile. My father always said that other dealers made him have a sales associate ride in the front seat with him during a test drive or even check his credit first. When he bought the 1998 Outback (a car I still have to this day and I will give to my kids), the salesman asked him how he could buy a car without his wife and actually threw the keys at him and told him to take his wife out to lunch! He always laughed at that. Naturally, he bought. For my money, it's a Subaru. I am so glad you continue that tradition to this day! More

The Salesperson (Kevin) was great; low-key; knowledgeable; friendly & helpful. However, a longer than usual Finance Office experience at the end of it all, which was the only negative. The Finance Office representative (Louie) spent an inordinate amount of time (almost an hour after the already lengthy test-drive, trade-in and sales experience with the salesperson) trying to convince us to add on several insurance, maintenance, service and paint-sealer "deals and packages" offered by Subaru. We made it clear that we were not interested, but he kept going into more and more detailed explanations of all the vehicle parts that were going to break down and how we needed one of these packages. I finally told him that from the way he was telling it, we had just bought a pretty lousy car that was going to self-destruct withing a few years! Ultimately, it felt like we were being held captive against our will at the end of what had been, up to that point, a pleasant experience. We were hungry and tired. Subaru needs to refine this part of the sales experience. More

Great car, great buying experience It was time to replace my trusty 14 year old car. After much online research, I chose 3 makes of car to test drive. The Subaru Forester was the leadin It was time to replace my trusty 14 year old car. After much online research, I chose 3 makes of car to test drive. The Subaru Forester was the leading contender. When I walked into Tucson Subaru, I was greeted pleasantly, and shown models by Kevin Mcdougall, who was very well informed and specifically answered my particular questions. His soft-spoken manner was very appealing. The car sold itself. I returned the next day to pick out a car, using the Costco member car buying plan to set the price, which was astonishingly agreeable. No haggling and a further discount in added amenities. All this was handled by Rudy Burneo, who took pains to be clear about the cost of each item. It was all very transparent and user-friendly. Next, I met with Traci Roberts, who explained all the optional warranties. Historically, I have avoided all these offers out of hand. Traci pointed out how much electronic equioment cars have now, compared to 14 years ato, and how the desert climate destroys plastic and rubber, compared to road salt and rust back east. I told her my budget and we managed to develop a package of extendee coverage that fit my needs, much to my great surprise, and I did not feel tricked or used, just gratified that my new car now has a cushion of support. My car was ready to drive off the lot in the time it took to do the paperwork. Rudy walked me through all the details. Happy! Happy! Of all the cars I have ever bought.., I am 68 and keep my cars until they die....this has been the smoothest, most gratifying purchase experience. I am sure the Costco process helped, but they refer me to Tucson Subaru for a reason. Great car, best buying experience in 46 years of buying cars. More
