I met Shawn Risner 3 years ago when I was looking to trade in for a Honda. He sat with me and walked me through all my options. He was completely honest and straight forward with me. He said it was not trade in for a Honda. He sat with me and walked me through all my options. He was completely honest and straight forward with me. He said it was not a good time financially for a trade in or purchase with my current vehicle. I knew he was right and I was shocked. He didn't force a sale. He treated me like family and told me to come back when I had more paid off my current vehicle. The experience stuck with me and I went back! I contacted Shawn and again he treated me like family! He was laid back and very easy to work with. He again gave me several options and allowed me to select which worked best for me. For the first time I was able to purchase a vehicle I wanted. We just purchased a 2021 Accord Hybrid- the third car we have bought from Roush in three years. We go back and refer family and friends because the sales and service people there are always professional an have bought from Roush in three years. Kevin Munn worked with us over about two months while we awaited the arrival of the 2021 model. He was very helpful and chased down information we bedded. Had a very good experience while purchasing a new CR-V. Everyone was very professional and friendly. Couldn't ask for a better experience in purchasing a car. Our existing car was titled in both my wife's and my name. We wanted the new car we were purchasing to be titled the same. It was never explained to us that both people had to complete the financial application for this to happen. I was asked to complete the app while in the dealership on an I-pad. This limited the title to be placed in my name only. This also meant we could not transfer our old plates to our new car. (I had just renewed our license plates in October). If this had been explained to us, we would have had my wife complete the financial application too. Possible good teaching moment. Outside of this one issue, I would recommend Jeff and Roush Honda to everyone for their new car needs. I think Honda has excellent products and we are actually repeat buyers. More
