My car had a braking issue that I pointed out on three different occasions... the first two it was dismissed as nothing, the third time a service technician found the issues, wish I knew his name because different occasions... the first two it was dismissed as nothing, the third time a service technician found the issues, wish I knew his name because he deserves recognition. He listend to my complaints numerous occasions and kept going back to the vehicle until he found it. It was a brake and rotor issue that was apart of a recall that nobody seemed to be aware of. In summary, I was told over the phone that I will have to pay to get it fixed eventhough i pointed this out before i drove the vehilce off the lot at purchase. I was put on hold and then when the person got back i was told my front and rear brakes and rotors were already replaced and they were adamant about it. I was told my car was at the shop 2 or 3 days (dont fully remember how long they said) which blew my mind because none of this ever happened. I called my wife to come get it, left work to go rectify it, arrived at the location and requested to speak with the manager who kept denying my repairs and he/she did not even have to decency to come speak to me. Sent the service coordinate to go have it fixed so I left work and drove there because I had nothing better to do, apparently. They only replaced the rear brakes and rotor which maybe why the vehicle still vibrating and making a humming sound when i brake and am just sick and tired of all the games so I haven't even brought it back. Super annoyed and I know it's a problem because I also own a tiguan which is not doing any of the things the taos is doing yet I keep hearing, "oh, it's a Volkswagen wagon issue, they all do that". Every other dealings I had was great which is why I went back when I needed a second vehicle but after the encounters I had after needing my first repair, not sure am interested in even keeping these vehicles because if this issues was this difficult and still unresolved I would hate to see how I would be treated when the vehicles get older and are out of warranty. More
