My scheduled appointment time was a Wednesday at 2:00 for a routine service check. When I arrived I was told my vehicle would not be checked that day, even though I made an appointment. There were no loaner a routine service check. When I arrived I was told my vehicle would not be checked that day, even though I made an appointment. There were no loaner cars available at the dealership, so I waited over an hour for a shuttle to pick up a rental. The rental company charged me $25/day (totaling $50) despite VW stating there would be no charge. I did not hear back from the VW tech as to the status of my car until Thursday afternoon - over 24 hours from my appointment time. After work was completed, VW called at the end of the day, near closing time knowing I live in St. Pete and it would take over an hour in traffic to drop off rental (I did not trust to drop of rental at the VW dealership), wait for shuttle to the dealership, and transportation from rental company to the dealership. Overall, I would not recommend this VW dealership and location. They are unorganized and there is very poor customer service, communication, and attention to detail. If appointments cannot be accommodated in a timely manner, block of dates/times to allow ample time to service. I would have much rather waited one-two weeks to schedule rather than deal with the cluster over two-day span. More
