Buyer beware. I should have known working with Audi Ft. Lauderdale was going to be a bad experience after it took me repeated calls and working with two s I should have known working with Audi Ft. Lauderdale was going to be a bad experience after it took me repeated calls and working with two salespeople and the used car manager to even get pictures of the vehicle I was interested in sent to me. I am an out of state buyer and planned to ship the vehicle back to my home state. I finally was able to work with a salesperson to finalize numbers and agree to a out the door price. Come to find out AFTER we had agreed to numbers, and I secured financing with a credit union the dealership tried to sneak in another $1000 on the car and not say anything. They tried to blame a “corporate policy” as to why this additional “low jack” fee was added after I had agreed in writing to the price of the vehicle. It took arguing with the used car sales manager to get them to remove this fee as it was not included in the agreed on out the door price. At this point I flew to Audi Ft. Lauderdale to finalize the deal in person. The only POSITIVE part of the review was working with the finance manager. He was no nonsense and did not try to upsell me on any additional packages or products. Made that process very easy and straightforward. After leaving and signing for the vehicle and working with a 3rd party shipping company the car arrived at my location in horrible condition (even in an enclosed carrier). Was NEVER detailed as promised, still had window stickers on the interior and exterior of the vehicle as well as still having the security tag on the keys. At this point I contacted the dealership GM Aryeh who was at least willing to reimburse me for the cost to have the car detailed. After I got the car detailed, I realized it was shipped with illegal tint on the car after the salesperson had reassured me it was legal. The car could not pass inspection in my home state and now I had to get new tint redone. AGAIN, I reached out to Aryeh and he was willing to reimburse me for the cost. At this point I am wondering was the car even looked over. It is Audi CPO but arrived with multiple issues. The BIGGEST issue being the car arrived with 0 connectivity. Bluetooth, phone, internet, and GPS all were not working. Come to find out the car needed an entirely new telematics module replaced. How is a car able to pass a CPO inspection and be shipped to a customer and immediately need multiple days of service to address an issue? I ended up having to drive over 300 miles to a neighboring city to get the car serviced as my local Audi dealerships were booked 3 months out. After getting the telematics module replaced under warranty, the dealership then informed me the rear brakes were at 3mm and needed to be replaced. Again, how does a CPO car pass with 3mm brakes and arrive to the customer in this condition? Ended up having to spent $900 out of pocket to get the brakes replaced. All in all, the buying experience itself embodies everything people hate about dealing with car dealerships. Sneaky pricing and untrustworthy. Only to receive a car with mechanical issues that immediately needed service and need out of pocket costs which should have been covered under the CPO inspection. I commend Aryeh for trying his best to make the situation right, but this is NOT how buying an Audi CPO vehicle should be. I would be HIGHLY suspicious of buying a car from Audi Ft. Lauderdale and suggest you do a thorough inspection of the vehicle they are selling you and get everything in writing. Simply put, this dealership cannot be trusted. More
