Great experience When we walked in we we’re nervous and shy but Jennifer Torres greeted us with open arms. We weren’t sure wat we where looking for but she focused on things we would love in a vehicle, narrowed it down. Had us look at the vehicles to see what was the best fit for us in all scenarios. We made our pick and and we are beyond satisfied. We thank Jennifer for walking us thru all the steps and making this an easy decision. Couldn’t ask for a better sales person. More

Brand new lemon car I purchased a Cherokee on Aug. 29th, airbag system light was on. Stayed on for 11 days until I took it in to service. They kept it for a week supposed I purchased a Cherokee on Aug. 29th, airbag system light was on. Stayed on for 11 days until I took it in to service. They kept it for a week supposedly fixed it. It came back on took it to service again on Oct 10th. Sent me to Enterprise for a rental. South Oak kept my Cherokee for 2 weeks and I got charged for the rental. Now my heat comes on by itself and it's extremely hard to make a right turn. More

Dishonest & deceitful Bought a car from Jim Matt from out of state. Asked him to accurately describe the condition since I would not be able to look at it first and would n Bought a car from Jim Matt from out of state. Asked him to accurately describe the condition since I would not be able to look at it first and would need to take his word for the condition of the truck. He repeatedly told me it was in great shape with no issues. I made the purchase and had it shipped to me. When it arrived at my home it was immediately obvious he lied to me. It had $6000 in severe rust damage, NONE of which Jim mentioned. Afterward he wouldn't even answer my phone calls. NEVER EVER trust this guy .!. !.!.!.! More

2016 Dodge Charger So on December 31 I bought a 2016 dodge charger brand-new. I really liked the car but I came to find out that with a three-year-old kid in a car seat So on December 31 I bought a 2016 dodge charger brand-new. I really liked the car but I came to find out that with a three-year-old kid in a car seat it does not work out very well so I wanted to trade it in for a 2017 Ford explore . When I went to Bill kay Ford to test drive the explorer they ran the Vin on the charger. I bought the charger with 318 miles and they still ran the Vin because I had 4900 miles on the car when I traded it in. Come to find out the car was in an accident in June 2016 six months before I bought the car and they still sold the car to me is a brand-new car. The Carfax report said it happened in Missouri and they got the car on a dealer trade so supposedly they never knew about the accident. So when I asked what I would get back for the car they told me $23,000 cash value or $4667 towards trade-in and Bill K Ford) I got 25,500 for trade-in so I am very disappointed with South Oak dad and I will never ever buy another vehicle from them or refer anybody to them. More

Terrible Experience I have purchase 4 vehicles with South Oak Dodge. My last vehicle was a lease I went into South Oak Dodge about two months before my lease was going to I have purchase 4 vehicles with South Oak Dodge. My last vehicle was a lease I went into South Oak Dodge about two months before my lease was going to end and in they got me a very good deal on a brand-new Pacifica. I was told by several sales people that you can turn in your car before the lease so I started to look and found something. But that isn't the truth you're still liable for your lease payments and or the lease payments should be factored into your new price of the car but South Oak Dodge neglected to inform me and or put the lease payments into the price of the new vehicle. I did not know this until I got a final bill for my first lease financial company. When I went back to South Oak to tell them that they did me wrong for not adding that into my monthly payments and for not informing about it they said it was my fault. It's not my fault they do terrible business! I never had problem before or I would've never went back to them. So stay far far away from them. They do terrible business!!!!!! More

Send offs! And liars! Usually you leave your number with a car dealership, and almost every salesman will call you. I've called this dealership more times then a customer e Usually you leave your number with a car dealership, and almost every salesman will call you. I've called this dealership more times then a customer ever should in the last 3 days. And no one ever got back with me. I went in to attempt to trade up from a 2015 Charger to 2016 Charger. I had paystubs 3k cash for down payment and my keys to trade in. The salesman knew almost nothing about the car. Everything he was telling me I already knew about the vehicle. He knew basics of a regular car. I was offered 15k for a car that was a little over a year old. It was a slap in the face. Here it is I have records of me keeping up all maintenance on the vehicle. It was in a slight hit and run from the rear. A tiny scratch. And I was offered 15k. Yet the car was sold to me for 31k.. AT THIS DEALRSHIP! So I left it was too much "negative equity" in the car. 2 hours later I received this long heart felt email from the General Sales Manager Mark Hester promising we can work out a deal come back to see him etc. So I decided to call and even put down more cash. That was on a Friday. We spoke briefly and promised that he would call back by the end of that day. 3 days later I called and was sent to his voicemail and even went up there to see him in person. Never met him. What a complete send off. He was supposedly in a meeting. So I decided to get my brakes repaired, an oil change, new tires and new windshield wipers. I was told I had to wait 5 plus hours or schedule an appointment in a very rude manner. As many times as I've visited here to get my car fixed, never have had to schedule an appointment. The Service advisor Tim said to come back 3 PM which was 4 hours later. I called before making an unnecessary trip. I was told they don't do appointments it's first come first serve and that Tim was gone for the day. Never I have I EVER been so dissatisfied with a car dealership ever. And this is my fifth car. I've been treated better at dealerships on the south side of Chicago. More

Not honest I came in and felt welcome and come to find out that I was played. And of course they don't care because the already got the money off me. By me been a woman and showing up without a man was so easy. when I came back he denied any wrong doing and the manager didn't care either. All them friendly faces were gone. the were quick to get me the wrong car and now can careless about my complaints. More

Also, visited this dealership one year ago and was told to come back in a year and they would be able to do something. I also received an email to contact the GM to help out the deal after I visited and left multiple messages to have him call back and still haven't heard anything. Lastly, they have the rudest person answering the phone, its like a burden that we called. I hope this review gets back to the dealership because this is the first of many reviews. Although Dave helped me through the process, he did provided excellent customer service. More
