Poor service over and over again I went to South Oak in 2007, 2011 and 2012. I must say between 2011 and 2012 the level of service went down. I bought a 2011 Dodge Charger that I went to South Oak in 2007, 2011 and 2012. I must say between 2011 and 2012 the level of service went down. I bought a 2011 Dodge Charger that was nothing but problems. I dealt with the owner’s son Garret Guest and sales rep Jim Matt. These two people were great to deal with. Now Mark Hester on the other hand was the rudest person ever. They sold me a lemon and I got a run around with it many times between the service managers telling me to keep it. Well who wants a new car that has had extensive service and needed new paint due to defects on it? Mark Hester was as ignorant as they come ran my credit many times without my permission and was not willing to back the product he helped sold. Now that I am trying to get a refund on my gap insurance and extended warrantee, once again I am getting the run around. This is the reader’s digest version of my tale of poor service. The long and the short of it, there are better dealers than South Oak and I recommend Bettenhausen over this dealer. Problem here is a few bad apples makes this place bad. I would recommend that they do some house cleaning. Everyone I used to send there has started to go elsewhere for better service and deals. More

What a car! They made this so easy for me. Southoak Dodge went the extra mile for me. As the new 2015 Chrysler 200 has just started to come out, they made sure to get me the exact model with the specifications that I wanted. I had very specific requirements for color, trim, and options. There was no pressure to look at a model that didn't fit my specifications. The price on the 200 that I purchased was lower than any other dealership was able to offer me. I also got a very fair value on my trade in. As I work late, and wasn't able to get to the dealership prior to 8:30pm, they had several employees stay after closing time to wrap up the deal. Scott Chenoweth was even able to get a lot of information from me over the phone so that when I showed up to purchase the vehicle everything was taken care of very quickly! Mark Hester and the finance team were able to get me a great rate and walked me through several different payment options. To top off the great buying experience, the new 2015 Chrysler 200 is an amazing vehicle and I am very happy with my purchase. More

South Oak was the only dealer that gave me a price from their website/internet. EVERYONE was friendly when I walked in the door. Marvin is the sales person i had and he spent the time with me, answering questions, went on test rides with different vehicles, and then NO pressure discussion to work out my deal. We got to a deal that I took that same night! Very easy and pleasant experience. Look up Marvin and he will help you out ! More

I came into the dealership per finding a truck on the website that I was interested in. The only issue, would the truck fit in my garage. I called Jason to get some measurements on the truck, which he website that I was interested in. The only issue, would the truck fit in my garage. I called Jason to get some measurements on the truck, which he was nice enough to get someone to help him and go out in the FREEZING weather and get for me. Per the measurements I was unsure if the truck would fit and if it did it would be very close. I called back and asked if I could come in, see the truck, try to make a decision based on the size of that truck compared to my current one and go from that point. Jason said absolutely however he was going to be unable to be there when I got there so Erin would help me. When I arrived, Erin was very pleasant and helpful. While taking down info on my possible trade in, she asked if I wanted to take the truck home to see if it actually would fit because I was unsure. I said that would be nice, and she talked to someone who gave the OK. I took the truck home, unfortunately it was just to big and this was not a purchase that I could justify. So, I returned the next day with the truck. Of course I knew that I was going to be asked questions so I went to Erin's desk and we chatted for a little while. I told her that I could not justify a purchase which she then asked if I would mind speaking to Mark. Mark came over and we chatted. I explained that I liked the RAMs very much and I would have to try to figure out my next steps. I left with a nice feeling about not only the dealership, but also about the staff that I had interacted with. I would recommend this dealership to anyone based on my experience. If in my decision, I find a RAM that suits my needs, I will hopefully deal with this dealership or a dealership that can give me the same experience. More

I have been employed in sales positions for the last 35 years. My initial impression was formed within the first ten minutes in the showroom. These people are interested in you . The demonstrated to me that i was important and that they were going to do everything it took to satisfy my needs. They did and i was impressed with the entire process from sales to contract.
