I visited 6 other Hyundai dealerships in the west and northwest Chicago suburbs this past 2 weeks and was pretty disappointed with their used car advertised pricing policies. I know tax, title, and licen northwest Chicago suburbs this past 2 weeks and was pretty disappointed with their used car advertised pricing policies. I know tax, title, and license are always extra but if there are additional things that add to the price (e.g. paint and fabric protection) and can't be removed then THAT should be the price advertised. But Family Hyundai was different. The only thing added to the advertised price for my 2017 was the TTL. And the listed price was inline with all the comparable year/model at all the other dealers. If I wanted add ons it was my choice and the prices they quoted for the add ons was much less than what the other Hyundai dealers assured me was "standard" across the company. Also my sales rep Mark Holder was phenomenal! No pressure (and this was on the last day of the month on a Saturday) and he even arranged to have a few small things fixed for free. Family Hyundai was the farthest for me to drive so I hesitated to go there thinking it would be like all the others but I'm glad I went because it was overall the best used car buying experience I can remember! They sold me a new car that was used which affected my warranty. The staff did not seem knowledgeable and management wouldn’t help repair my backup camera which should be covered by my warranty. Took almost 4wks to get the appointment for my ABS recall which seems to have affected the warranty??! I purchased it on 11/24/17 so how is the warranty expired?? Very upsetting for sure! More
