AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE - MARK INTERLICCHIA I purchased my first MB (E350 Coupe) from Walter's in 2011. Great experience. Super customer service. I have known Mark Interlicchia for about 7 I purchased my first MB (E350 Coupe) from Walter's in 2011. Great experience. Super customer service. I have known Mark Interlicchia for about 7 years and consider him a friend now. I moved back to LA from Riverside last year. Last week my husband misplaced the key to his 1984 MB 380SL. He went to to one of the MB dealerships in our area to see if they could get him a replacement key. He told them the year and make but they asked him for the VIN number. He went back the following day only to be informed that they could not get him a replacement key because his vehicle was too old. They also seemed to be more interested in the customers who had vehicles there. I had a similar experience at the same dealership when i took my car in for a scheduled maintenance. I was not impressed with their customer service at all. I guess I had been spoiled by Walter's level of customer service across the board. I then decided to take my car to an authorized MB repair shop and had my car serviced in less than an hour at a very reasonable price. So I contacted them and asked if they could help us with a replacement key. They said they did not provide key replacement service but referred us to a locksmith specialist. We contacted the locksmith who wanted $500 for a key! For real. No kidding!!!!!! hello? My husband then suggested we contact Mark Interlicchia at Walter's. I did and without any further ado, Mark had a replacement key made and Federal Expressed to us the very next day for a nominal price. I now know that if we EVER have any issues whatsoever with our MB vehicles, Mark at Walter's is our #1 go to guy. I am thinking of maybe getting a newer MB in the not so distant future. I will for sure travel the 60 miles to get the excellent service Walter's provides. Mark has always provided expedient service with a smile. He is pleasant, friendly and more importantly, he is knowledgeable about every aspect of the MB vehicles. He should, he used to work on them, He is also keenly aware of the value of our time and does not waste it. I recommend MARK INTERLICCHIA and WALTER'S MERCEDES BENZ in Riverside 100%!!!!! i hope this review helps. Thank you for the opportunity to provide it. Sandy S. More

Ray Burke is a crook, they are incompetent and dishonest.. Approximately 6 months ago I took in my ML 350 diesel to repair a seal leak (apparently my vehicle had a design flaw) that was causing me to lose a qu Approximately 6 months ago I took in my ML 350 diesel to repair a seal leak (apparently my vehicle had a design flaw) that was causing me to lose a quart a month, and for which they had quoted me less than $2300 to repair. I had done regular service on my vehicle at Walter's and I had no other issues with the vehicle. A week into the repair they hit me up for a few more thousand in "other repairs" that had nothing to do with the seal that was bad. I begrudgingly agreed because they assured me that there were no other issues and my vehicle only had 125k miles - which as a diesel that was less than a quarter of its minimum life expectancy. Approximately a month later I picked up the vehicle, was told it was good to go, and drove off after paying them over $5,000. Two or three days later, and less than 50 miles later, the check engine oil light came on. I happened to be just minutes away from Walters so I took it in for them to check it out (at this point I thought they must have forgot to add the oil back after the repair). Approximately a month later, and after multiple stories and additional parts being "thrown at the problem" I was told that I needed another $9,000 in repairs for unrelated parts. I complained that I would not have done the first repairs if that wasn't going to fix the problem, that it seemed suspicious that I was still losing oil - only at a faster rate, but they had my vehicle hostage. After some complaining and wrangling they agreed to only charging me another $6,000. Approximately 2 months later I pick up the vehicle which at this point has a practically rebuilt engine. I was approximately $12,000 into a vehicle worth between $15-$23k in resale value. I am again assured by Walter’s that the vehicle is "fixed" and that they have "thoroughly road tested it" (thus the unbelievable repair time). I drive off unhappy at the way they have tricked me, dropped the ball over and over, and had not been concerned about taking quick care of me, but glad to have a "practically new" vehicle. Less than 100 miles later and approximately 4-5 days later the "check engine oil" light goes on. I contact Walter’s about bringing it back in and surprise surprise my "customer service" dummy doesn’t respond. I then call his manager and he says, “bring it in we will take care of you.” I drop it off nervous about their competence but repeatedly assured they would take care of me. Over a month later I get an email that says, "we have verified the oil issue" ... of course that told me nothing so I ask for clarity. I get a short email ... “we verified that you need a new engine” – no explanation, no concern about how inconceivable that was, no details on why. I said that unacceptable and they said basically "tough". I ask for the owner or gm or corporate attorney to contact me. I get a call from the sales manager Ray Burke instead. A truly slimy sales person who promises to “make it right.” (which is apparently the English term for “screw you royally”). I spend several hours with him trying to "sell" me a new Mercedes with a few percentage points off and an offer to take my "worthless" vehicle - that they spent months and $12k of my dollars "fixing" - off my hands for $6k. When I ask Ray and the service manager Tyler about my engine’s “compression ratios” (which any diesel mechanic would have determined before saying the engine was blown) they say nonchalantly, "we didn't check that." When I ask them to be “reasonable” they essentially tell me to "f'off" and they give me back my vehicle that now barely runs without any written explanation or details on what went wrong (what they did wrong) – they did post on Yelp that it had lots of problems that I didn’t want to repair but that is a bold faced lie. When I show it to another mechanic they point out that the "new turbo" they installed is a used turbo and he shows me that the Mercedes logo is peeling off. I am now filing a complaint with the CA Department of Consumer Affairs - Bureau of Automotive Repair, the CA Department of Justice - Office of Attorney General, the Better Business Bureau, as well as drafting a lawsuit for Fraud, Breach of Implied Covenant to Perform Work in a Good and Competent Manner, Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act activity, Installing the wrong replacement part(s), Performing the wrong procedure(s), Failing to notice major repairs that need to be done (i.e. improper inspection and diagnosis), Causing damage to the engine or other parts during the work, etc. Their only response to date is to repeatedly say "it has 125k miles" - but when I bought this vehicle off the show room floor Mercedes specifically warranted/assured me that the "bluetec" was designed to last over 500k miles with proper care (which I did) and that it was environmentally friendly (which I am finding in my research Mercedes used falsified emission results to claim). Walter’s Mercedes is incompetent, crooked, dirty, dishonest, evil, corrupt, etc. They bilked me out of $12,000 dollars in "repairs" and returned me with a vehicle 100% worse than it was when I took it in. I never declined any repairs and the leaking oil became consuming oil after Ray's team ripped me off! Shame on you Ray! More
