Came in on the fly to look at the certified pre owned vehicles. I was blown away by their inventory. Everything from small cars to full size SUV’S. Found a car I liked, took it for a spin. I expressed some concerns about the trucks engine. Was told by the sales manager that their Ford dealership would look at it. Instead, he called them. I was told that since the check engine light wasn’t o told by the sales manager that their Ford dealership would look at it. Instead, he called them. I was told that since the check engine light wasn’t on, that there were no issues. Fine, except my specific concern wouldn’t have been monitored by the check engine light. I bought the truck. However, I had to track down the maintenance records at a different dealership (that would have been available to Lester Glenn Ford, if they had bothered to look). All-American Ford confirmed that they had already performed the engine work on the truck. Lester Glenn should thank All-American Ford for making the sale as they actually spent the 10 minutes to research the issue and confirm that the engine was fine. Also, the “no hidden fees” line is a lie. The sales contract has a $199 fee pre-printed for security stickers. I ended up paying it as I just wanted to get out of that dealership as fast as possible. Of course, when I picked up the truck the next day, I asked where the security stickers were. Good thing I asked as they hadn’t even bothered to install them. Not impressed at all with the overall honesty. Entire organization came across as the stereotypical used car salesman. More
