This is the letter I wrote to the dealership today. I believe it summarizes my experience. "I want to share my experience today at your dealership. I was hoping to have had a positive experience, unfortunately it was not. First of all, the sales associate provided us with a vehicle which had no fuel. I had my wife and child in the car, and while driving a few minutes away from the dealership the vehicle turned off in the middle of the road without warning. There was not enough fuel to pull onto a side street. The scary part was that the sales associate encouraged me to go on Rt. 18. Had I opted to do so, the results could have been catastrophic and deadly. Thankfully I chose to drive on the side streets. The sales associate's lack of forethought to perform a safety check on a vehicle which will be taken out on a test drive does not make sense. As a customer, getting acquainted with an unfamiliar car, it is assumed that it will be safe to drive and that it has fuel. Secondly, the sales manager did not understand the gravity of the situation. He appeared to be minimizing our experience and stated, "I already apologized...what else do you want from me?" His attitude, demeanor and character does not rise to that of a manager. It is a shame that he represents your dealership. He went on to state, "Cars run out of gas...I have 300 cars on the lot...I can't make sure they all have gas." He was unable to understand the deeper issue at hand which is the safety of the customer behind the wheel of a Stellantis/Dodge vehicle. As a manager, if he can not assure that a test vehicle has enough gas, implied to us that he did not care about the safety of his customers. Instead of offering an empathetic response, he became defensive, argumentative and condescending. Although I still plan on purchasing a Dodge vehicle, it will not be at a dealership which minimizes and jeopardizes the safety of it's customers. I will be writing a letter to Stellantis/Dodge and expressing my concerns and sharing my experience, in addition to, the owner/president of the dealership." More

The service this time was GREAT. Had some issues in the past but am very pleased this time. Michael was my service POC he got me checked in fast and got me a ride home. He asked when I needed the car which I was never asked before. I said I needed by late afternoon as I dropped it off at 0900. Much to my surprise it was done at 1330 and at around 1400 Michael arranged my transportation back. I am pleased that he contacted me via text as last time I was never contacted and had to get my own ride back at 1800. So this time...very happy. As I checked out I was a little irritated but ended up happy. It wasn't Michael but a diff guy. I have spent 1000s of dollars there and countless visits and I wanted use my MOPAR Coupon and the checkout guy said I couldn't use on a package deal. Kinda ridiculous when I spend so much money there. However, The mangr on duty told the checkout guy to let me use the coupon. It was only 10 percent but I really appreciated that. This time I had no problems unlike last time all my fluids were topped off and the service was quick and I was contacted about service being done. JCDR IN EAST BRUNSWICK has changed a page in service quality and I hope it continues. I have no reason to give anything less than 5 stars which unusually don't do because I had a no issues and I went smoothe I can't give anything less. Especially because of Michael contacting me and for what your manager did. So with this service I will be back....keep it up More
