Hi Nancy, Mary Dziczkowski here. Here is the original email that I sent my salesperson: Hi Alexis, Thank you for getting me connected to the service deparment who was able to schedule a relatively quick appointment for me. I appreciate your attentiveness and occasional telephone calls. Brandon, as always, listened to my concerns about the sound not decreasing on the radio when the car is placed in reverse and the key fobs randomly are not recognized by the car, even though they are right there inside the car. In addition, I needed an oil change and have the tires rotated. I arrived on Saturday, January 4 for my appointment, yep in the middle of a snow storm! The Service Advisor, Mike, was a someone new to me. I explained why I was there and when I told him about the randomness of the sound not decreasing...he immediately wrote it off as a "oh that's a setting, you have do." when I explained about the key fobs, he quickly responded with, "oh that's a battery issue" I told him, that Crestmont had already changed the battery. He said, oh you have to change both of them at the same time. Then he never address that issue again. He was quick to suggest that I get the 30K mile maintenance done as I was about 2500 miles away from that. I asked what that entailed and how much that would be...he showed me the quote for $297. I said wow, I wasn't thinking I was going to be spending that much money today ." He responded with, wait until we get to the 60K maintenance, that will cost you about $1200. I said, I have never had any of those done in the past. His response was, that is why your cars broke down. I said, I never had any of my previous Hyundais break down and have always had my service completed here. He aslo indicated he could charge me a little less for the alignment as my car is smaller. I was stunned with his cavalier attitude and lack of proper customer service. While I did agree to the have 30K maintenance completed, I was not happy when when it came time to pay the bill. It was $561.25. Mike was the one who told me my car was ready, but never said anything about the bill being $261.25 more than the quote. The lady taking my payment was equally not alarmed, although, she said we could call Mike over to explain. I am not happy with this recent customer service. Oh and he never offered to show me how to adjust the settings or address the key fob issue. He totally dismissed my concerns. Having been a Crestmont customer since 2013, I never paid more than what I was quoted. Perhaps I should have made a fuss at the time, last Saturday , but I am so displeased and upset still, I thought it better to wait. I don't know what Crestmont is going to do to make this right, if that is even possible. I may have no choice than to seek an alternate solution. Perhaps you would be good enough to forward this to the appropriate manager or department heads, etc. Again, prior to January 4 , I have had no issues with your service department. They have always seemed fair in the assessment of the car issues and the cost. I am not sure what has changed. When I consult other mechanics about the service I am about to have done, they counsel me and indicate (or ast least in the past) that the service and cost seems ok. I called him back and left a message. He called back again on the same day with a message, "so I guess I am just playing phone tag, I'm sorry." That was the last I heard from him or anyone from Crestmont. I really don't think that I should need to do anything at this point. I have stated my case and I guess Brian doesn't feel there is much there to address. Bummer for me. Mary D.
