I was very reluctant to accompany my husband to test drive a 2014 Outback, based on past experiences of purchasing a new vehicle. I am very happy to say that Mike Carlson has changed my view of the car drive a 2014 Outback, based on past experiences of purchasing a new vehicle. I am very happy to say that Mike Carlson has changed my view of the car buying experience. We visited Elk Grove Subaru a few times, expressed what our interests were and what price range we would like to stay within and there was no pressure or haggling from Mike or any other employees. Mike was professional, informative and knowledgable. He found exactly what we were looking for and within our price range. We would definitely buy from Mike and Elk Grove Subaru in the future and would gladly recommend the same to family and friends!!! More

Talked first to Dickson Yip about a new Outback. A no- nonsense price was offered and accepted. My wife and I went to a Ford dealership prior to Elk Grove Subaru and escaped and left there feeling violate nonsense price was offered and accepted. My wife and I had been researching Subarus, had decided what model and options we were wanting, called Elk Grove Subaru, and they had the specific car. We had been to two other dealers, in each instance i what model and options we were wanting, called Elk Grove Subaru, and they had the specific car. We had been to two other dealers, in each instance interacting with very surly salespeople who treated us as objects rather than persons. We had done internet research to identify best prices for the model. In very direct contrast to our experience at other dealerships, everyone at Elk Grove Subaru was friendly, considerate, professional and customer-oriented. At every point in the interactions we felt respected and affirmed. Mike Carlson was especially helpful. And Mike Lagandaon in Finance was exceptional. We have bought many cars over the years, the most recent ones being in hassle-free situations because of the upfront research we've done and our understanding of the sales and pricing process. But this buying process at Elk Grove Subaru stands out above all the others for the real consideration we were given. We got the exact model we wanted, at the price we had determined based on internet research and local comparisons, and we got 0% financing! The biggest surprise was that we had expected a maximum of 36 months 0% financing, and we emerged with 48 months! Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed Carl Volk, he listened to what I wanted. Always had an answer for my technical questions about the different Subaru's I was interested in. I started searching for a new Subaru and went to two other dealerships first. The fist one Maita was closer to the house the second one was in Roseville close to a friends house. I received the same poor quality service from both. Maita did not have anybody working that could find the vehicle I was looking for and did not have anyone certified to give me a quote on the vehicle I was looking to trade in. I went to Roseville when visiting a friend thinking I would get something accomplished but I was wrong. We walked around floor for about ten minutes before anyone bothered asking if we needed help, once a representative started assisting us he was told by his supervisor to go help out another customer that had just arrived, even though we had an appointment. The second representative took down the information from me and stated they had the car I was looking for but could not find it because his manager took it to San Jose for a convention but could have it back for me to buy, with all those miles on it. When I mentioned I was looking for an appraisal on my vehicle he instantly told me to come back another day because they were too busy to help me in that department. Yes I was turned away. I came home deflated and was about to give up but I saw there was a dealership in Elk Grove also and sent my request to and within minutes Bruce Cunningham called and e-mailed me with a car he had on the lot meeting my request. When I arrived my family and I were greeted as soon as we walked into the showroom floor. Bruce was kind enough to work with me and answer all my questions. I felt that the Subaru dealership was looking to get my business and did everything possible for me to walk out of there with the car I wanted. Mike Lagandon was very kind and helpful as well. I have purchased a few vehicles and this was by far the easiest process. I will definitely let people know about my experience at Elk Grove Subaru. More

Recently purchased a 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek, after having purchased a 2012 Subaru Impreza last year. Neither of us is fond of the "car buying experience", but dealing with Saun Mir, and several othe having purchased a 2012 Subaru Impreza last year. Neither of us is fond of the "car buying experience", but dealing with Saun Mir, and several other folks at Elk Grove Subaru, made the event much easier. Everyone there was very patient with our endless questions and issues -- including having to amend our contract. Wonderful folks to deal with. Reaching a decent price was easy. We did not feel pressured in any way, ever. Saun was very personable, friendly, and bent over backwards to help us out with every single thing that came up. It was getting late in the day when the vehicle was detailed, and they overlooked a couple of things, but we easily remedied those at home. No worries. Great experience -- about as good as buying a car can be! More

We did quite a bit of research before going to Elk Grove Subaru for the purpose of test driving different models to see which one we liked best. We spent a lot of time driving three different cars - the Ou Subaru for the purpose of test driving different models to see which one we liked best. We spent a lot of time driving three different cars - the Outback, Forester, and Crosstrek - during which time Curtis Jare was incredibly helpful and patient, explaining the features and differences. We must have gone on 5 or 6 test drives. We weren't necessarily planning on buying, but we were aware that there were some very good promotions going on because of the holiday, and were open to the right car at the right price. We found what we wanted, and Mike Carlson did a very good job working with us and getting us the car we wanted at the price we could live with. Mike Lagandaon handled the documents and signing and was very thorough making sure we got the deal we had agreed to. Although buying a new car is always a somewhat stressful activity because of the negotiation, cost and commitment involved, the staff here all made it a pretty smooth and easy experience. I will definitely return when it comes time to buy my next car. More
