My negative rating is for the Finance Manager Mr. Shawn Merrirt. He himself is not fit to work with the public. He is too bitter a person to work with clients. In my personal experience, I had to sign a contract on May 6, 2021 and the vehicle was delivered to me on 6/22/21 one month and sixteen days after signing the contract. Mr. Shawn was too arrogant and at all times he refused to make me change from the Lease date to the delivery date, If it was not because the very kind salesman Jose R. who convinced me to take the Sienna I would have left him the vehicle at the dealer and I would never do another lease with Merrick again. Shawn Merrick only cares that one signs the contract and gives him the money immediately and then one does not work. You get what they want and then you stop being a good customer for the dealer. Disrespect for the customer do you have? Things like Shawnk for that reason I made a complaint to both Toyota Finance departments because my experience with you was horrible until I felt cheated, you never wanted to cancel the contract in the first 7 days of signing when by law it was in my Right, RESPECT CUSTOMERS More

I recently purchased a new 2021 Toyota RAV4 from Herb Chambers. This was my third purchase from this dealership. From the very first day I walked through the door up until two weeks after purchasing m Chambers. This was my third purchase from this dealership. From the very first day I walked through the door up until two weeks after purchasing my vehicle, the entire transaction has been nothing but problems. I've never had so much trouble purchasing a vehicle as I have this last time. I can sum up the whole experience in one word...suspect!!! I will never purchase another vehicle from them again. All you get is the runaround! Be sure to read everything you sign and get copies "with" your signature on them. Go somewhere else to a dealer you can somewhat trust. 4Runnin' I casually showed up a few minutes before closing on a Sunday night a few weeks back to look at new vehicle options to replace a 10 year old truck. W I casually showed up a few minutes before closing on a Sunday night a few weeks back to look at new vehicle options to replace a 10 year old truck. While looking at a 4Runner, Cole walked by and introduced himself, asked a few questions, and grabbed the keys for my family to take a test drive. After the test drive, we chatted a bit and explained that I was interested and would come back on Monday to discuss a possible deal. After doing a little research that night and getting a few base level online quotes from local dealers for the same vehicle, came back on Monday ready to negotiate and within 10 minutes we had a deal at the number I was looking for. Due to some other folks that were ahead of me with Finance, I had a short wait time but was in an and out in just over an hour and came back to pick up the vehicle on Thursday. Throughout the entire process, Cole was personable, knowledgeable, and was easy to negotiate with. I never felt like I was talking to a car salesman rather just a friend that I would have a beer with. He made the overall car buying experience the easiest one that I've had in 30 plus years of buying vehicles. Thanks Cole. More
