Unbelievably Good Experience on Used Car We were trying to replace a 2009 Camry (purchased from 5 Star 18 months ago) which was totaled by someone blowing through an intersection. We loved th We were trying to replace a 2009 Camry (purchased from 5 Star 18 months ago) which was totaled by someone blowing through an intersection. We loved that car. Our salesman, Joe Farentelli (who sold us the Camry) told us about a Camry that had just been traded in. It hadn't been cleaned or serviced, but it was another 2009 Camry just like the one we lost, with less than half as many miles. The "check engine" light was on, but Joe assured us that would either be fixed or we wouldn't have to buy it. We paid for the car. This was on Monday. On Wednesday, we picked up the car. That evening, the "check engine" light came on again. We called Joe, he had us bring it back, and they serviced it again. We picked it up Thursday evening. Friday morning, the light came back on. We called again and they said bring it back. We did so. This time, 5-Star took it to someone who specialized in Toyotas. The car was fixed again, and now, a week later, it's running great. THAT is OUTSTANDING service! The car was technically sold "As Is", but they made sure it was in good running order. This is just one more example of why my family buys exclusively from 5-Star, and from Joe. We've purchased a total of 8 vehicles from them over the last quarter-century, and 5 from Joe. We highly recommend both! More

Wow! A dealership with professionals who 'listen'! My Bride & I traded in a 2014 Kia Sorento in excellent condition and received the trade-in value we needed. Another need was met when Mr. Hurley found us a used Ford Expedition that would tow our large pop-up camper. The extended warranty package Mr Edwards helped us with was the icing on the cake. We don't purchase a vehicle very often and it was a bit stressful, but Lone Star Ford helped us through the rough spots and we're 'happy campers' now.... More

Do not buy a car from here if you care about your saftey I purchased a 2007 ford edge to only find out later it had an open safety recall on it that they did not disclose to me. Open Safety Recalls don't matter to them! I bought a used car in September 2016 , only to find out in January 2017 that a SAFETY recall was placed in May 2016 about metal fragments flying out I bought a used car in September 2016 , only to find out in January 2017 that a SAFETY recall was placed in May 2016 about metal fragments flying out from airbags . We were never made away of this issue when purchasing the vehicle. Diron did a quick sale on this and failed to mention the safety recall to us. Once we found out about the recall both Myron and Shawn stated they sell cars with open safety recalls all the time, which to me is a poor practice, but if you are going to do it, the consumer needs to be informed. More
