Overcharged and sold me services I did not need. I brought my 2019 truck there to look at the front camera. They diagnosed it as needing a new front camera and a new video processing module. The I brought my 2019 truck there to look at the front camera. They diagnosed it as needing a new front camera and a new video processing module. They quoted that at $3,112 to fix it. I had an extended warranty that Dover Chevy wanted to charge almost $1,200 more than what the warranty would cover. I ended up going to Banks Chevy to have them diagnose the issue and provide a quote. They updated the software for video processing module and replaced the front camera for a total of $971, of which I only paid my deductible for the warranty. The camera system works great now. Dover Chevy also wanted to charge $502 for the front camera, but that part only cost $177 at Banks Chevy. Dover Chevy also said my front brakes were at 3-4mm and needed to be replaced at a cost of $938. I had Banks Chevy look at them and I was told there was 6mm remaining and that they did not need to be replaced. It is very clear that Dover Chevy was trying to take advantage of me so they could make some extra money. Jennifer Ryan was fine to deal with and the one star is not for her customer service. The one star is for the service manager, Rich, who I spoke to multiple times trying to figure out the issues and why it cost so much. Unfortunately, Rich doesn’t have a profile on here so I cannot leave the one star review for him. More

I had a great experience at Dover Chevy getting my vehicle serviced. The entire team was professional, efficient, and made the process smooth from start to finish. They took the time to explain everything clearly and ensured my car was taken care of properly. I especially want to highlight Jen Ryan, who is always incredibly professional and courteous. She consistently goes above and beyond to make sure customers feel valued and informed. It’s clear she takes pride in her work, and it really shows in the level of service she provides. Got charged $2,200 for a broken ground wire and a set of new spark plugs.. the technician admitted he missed the broken ground wire the first time he checked them on day 1. So 10 days later he finally found new spark plugs.. the technician admitted he missed the broken ground wire the first time he checked them on day 1. So 10 days later he finally found the broken ground wire after going back to the basics when a dozen other things didn't do the trick. Again the technician was honest and admitted his fault and apologized for taking so long. However the service writer who writes up the bills was not understanding or reasonable at all with the bill. Also every time I went there to check in on the service he always said I was just getting ready to call you.. then he would go on and tell me a story about one of his vehicles years ago that had nothing to do with my situation.. horrible customer service. My service advisor Matt did the best he could with the information they were giving him. I think next time someone comes in and tells them they think it's a bad ground they might double check that first on day one as I really stressed that more than once to them.. I believe Bob the technician will do a much better job next time around. However I don't think the guy that writes the bills up will change at all.. sad. More
