Hi, I ordered a ford maverick, it took 1 year to come in from when I first put my order in. It arrived a month earlier than estimated time of arrival according to ford’s website. During this time I was closing on the refinancing of my rental property mortgage, so I couldn’t risk opening up a new line of credit (finance my new truck), but I only needed an extra week. (Pam was really helpful with this as she was a loan writer at a previous job, so she knew when it would be okay to purchase my vehicle.) But during this time, John was calling me, multiple times a week saying if I don’t come and get my truck they are going to sell it someone else. He made comments hinting/questioning if I even had the means to purchase my truck and mentioning/threatening other customers will buy it that day. On top of all of that he charged me 10K over sticker price due to “market adjustments” when I was told by another salesman that when I ordered the vehicle prior to all of the Covid/pandemic economic impacts, that I would be locked in at my price. I felt backed into a corner because I waited a year for my truck to come in and I looked forward to having it, so I just went through with my purchase so I wouldn’t have to wait any longer for a truck but I’m here now, debating where to purchase a new suv later this year for my pregnant wife and I guarantee you it won’t be Ganley west ford. I’m truly so confused by the way I was treated. If you need more details, please let me know. Thanks
