I must say that my experience as a first time customer at Manly Honda wasn’t as enjoyable as it should have been. The salesman delivered a car I purchased on their site, which was nice, however after driving Manly Honda wasn’t as enjoyable as it should have been. The salesman delivered a car I purchased on their site, which was nice, however after driving it the first day, I felt that it wasn’t the car that fit my needs, so I took advantage of their 7 day guarantee and browsed their site for not only a bigger car, but with less mileage. So I found one I liked and contacted the salesman to let him know that I wanted to swap cars, and he said that he’d start the process. That process went smoothly up until I got home and I realized that the salesman had slipped in a used car warranty plan which added an additional $5k to my loan. I didn’t know that the extended warranty plan was added to my contract, because when I was signing the paperwork, the finance rep didn’t even mention the warranty or even ask me if I wanted it to be added on. So I called the salesman who helped me, and I asked him why the warranty package was on my contract, and he said that it was required by the lender because my car was a used vehicle, and that I could take the warranty off after 6 months of on time payments, which I thought was strange. Well after digging a bit, I read on the warranty document that my loan approval was not contingent on purchasing the warranty plan and that it was optional. So I contacted the finance director who was able to resolve the issue and get the warranty plan taken off and had me resign the contract which took several hours, but at the end of the day it dropped my car payment by $115. I was also contacted by Paul Ciardiello, their GSM, and had a very pleasant conversation, and not only did he take the time to reach out to me and listen to my concerns, but he sincerely apologized for my unpleasant experience, and because of that I will definitely consider returning to them in the future when I decide to purchase a new car. More

Although I was overcharged by the finance department, Scott made it right by providing me a check for the diffe to take car out alone for test drive. Michael Lyons provides horrible customer service, no follow through, follow up, or even a returned phone call. I have left several messages via phone and text and he can’t seem to have the common courte follow through, follow up, or even a returned phone call. Purchased a vehicle last Friday online due to Covid and living 2 hours away, I was not advised of the prior damage around the vehicle. Michael Lyons advised he would “ send photos “ of the vehicle, but didn’t. My last car totaled and being a mother of 2 I needed a car. Honestly if I would have known this was the type of treatment I would receive from Manly Honda I would have taken my business elsewhere. I hope future customers are treated better. ** I reached out to Paul ( the GM ) who was extremely helpful, heard my concerns and addressed them. I’d like to thank Paul, Sean, and Abraham who were helpful and informative. They took care of my concerns and arranged for my vehicle to be repaired. More
