Sold a lemon! We bought a used cmax energi. It's a lemon. Our salesman is no longer at Manly. The service department tells us they'd have to send the car to Hansel We bought a used cmax energi. It's a lemon. Our salesman is no longer at Manly. The service department tells us they'd have to send the car to Hansel Ford for service, so we took it there ourselves. $900 and a week later they could find nothing wrong, meanwhile it goes dead overnight or after a few days of not driving. We've asked ford to take it back under the California lemon law. No word yet. We'll never buy another Ford or shop ever again at Manly. More

The latest experience was simply to purchase a car which had been previously leased. This should have been a very simple transaction, but while completing the paperwork we were repeatedly given the sales pitch for an extended warranty. We listened politely and respectfully, and said No. The pitch was repeated another three or four times. No mention that the warranty would add nearly $3K to the cost of the financing, and reluctance to allow us to pursue a lower rate at a local credit union. We understand that there is great incentive and profit in extended warranties, but No means No. We will take our future business elsewhere. More
