This dealership is phenomenal. We went in not being sold on a Subaru and worked with Chad and Peter -- both of whom worked in a consultative manner not the sleazy car salesman way. All in all my wife and I test drove multiple vehicle styles, models, and at the end of the day through their willingness to go above and beyond, we walked out confident in the decision to buy a new vehicle from Quality Subaru. After the fact our sales rep called to make a check in call and even went on to help answer additional questions to make sure that we were fully satisfied. Even the GM made a personal call to keep me abreast of the progress as my new car came in. Chad and Peter are top notch and this dealership is THE BEST. They've earned my business for years to come. More

I don't put much stock in this web site's reviews because they all deal with sales and because they are all entirely favorable. Do you really know anyone who's had nothing but positive experiences with any car dealership, especially AFTER they've purchased the car? Quality Subaru's service is horrible. There is a serious communication problem there and a real lack of respect for the customer. Sure, there's a veneer demanded by the sales team but its thin and the service department is not, in my opinion, to be trusted. Their "service consultants," make promises they have no intention of keeping, promise call backs they have no intention of keeping and outright lie to you. I dealt with the service manager too. He rude, blaming the lack of communication on me, etc. What all staff in the service department seem to have in common is the inability to listen to the customer and a general condescending attitude toward people. Be careful, this shop will do anything to cover up their mistakes, including lying. I don't trust them I certainly would not recommend having your car serviced there! More

I feel we were given a very competitive and very good/fair deal. It was close to great but when it comes to purchasing cars my personal feelings are car prices can never be classified as great. I did some comparison shopping but not as much as with my previous subaru purchase. Everyone was pleasant and personable, and even the owner took time to speak with us during the process. The general manager stepped in initially after we had a brief wait on arrival instead of allowing us to wait longer for a salesman to be available. I have walked into other dealerships and not been acknowledged for way too long, so that impressed me. He worked out the details that made us feel good about trading in and upgrading to a 2013, and made us feel he wanted to sell us a car. We usually buy and keep our cars longer and were exploring upgrading after three years for the first time. I feel confident we have made the correct decision and both parties gained from it. More

I was treated fairly while looking for a new car. Ralph was very personable and knowledgeable about the Subaru line of vehicles. My wife needed a new vehicle since her mini-van was 12 years old and we decided not to sink any more money into it. We eliminated future mini-vans because they become a money pit after 5 years or so and years old and we decided not to sink any more money into it. We eliminated future mini-vans because they become a money pit after 5 years or so and we typically keep our cars 10 plus years. It took about 3 weeks to decide that the Subaru was the right vehicle. It got great grades from Consumer Reports and we were especially pleased with its previous reliability record. We test drove the Toyota RAV 4, The Mazda 5, and the Honda CRV and felt that the Outback and Forester were better. Plus, Subaru's AWD system was impressive. We looked at Dealerraters Connecticut Subaru dealers and decided after reviewing it that Quality Subaru made the most sense even though its an hour from where we live. The owner Joe Blichfeldt was as involved as anyone else and provided us with proof of the superiority of Subaru's AWD system and went out of his way to welcome us (including making a sandwich for my wife)! He struck us as a guy who really cares about his company and wants to please his potential buyers. Our salesman, Gary Thomsen was great. He obviously knows the vehicles and helped settle my wife behind the wheel of a new Subaru Forester. Mike Ward and Peter Zagorski were also instumental in helping us close the deal. They went out of their way to make my wife happy when she noticed a slight dent in the Forester that we were about to buy. Rather than argue with us they recommend that they get an identical vehicle from another nearby Subaru dealership. We bought the vehicle for less than the invoice price. I was very impressed to say the least. We have had the car about a month and my wife loves it. If Quality Subaru's service is anything like their sales department we will be doing business for a long time. Do yourself a favor. If you're going to buy a Subaru make sure you give Quality Subaru a visit! More
