Evan, our salesperson, Rob in Finance, and Prince in Delivery made our car buying experience fantastic! We had not bought a brand-new car in years, preferring to buy a slightly used vehicle. However, Delivery made our car buying experience fantastic! We had not bought a brand-new car in years, preferring to buy a slightly used vehicle. However, we do have specific criteria, and there are just very few used cars available right now, so this time we opted to buy new. We test drove and loved both 2021 Honda Accord Touring gasoline model and the Accord Hybrid Touring model. Another first for us, we decided to go with the Hybrid due to rising gas prices and the long trips we take. That's when Evan really went to work for us - although Mohawk Honda had several Hybrid Touring models, there were no Accord Hybrid Touring models in the exterior and interior color we wanted in all of New York State. There was no guarantee that a dealer from another state would even be willing to part with one of these hard-to-find Hybrids, but Evan worked some magic. We asked him to begin his search on Thursday afternoon, and on Monday he called to say the car was ready at Mohawk ready for pickup! We had anticipated that the "search and rescue" for our car would take at least a couple of weeks! We also don't typically purchase additional warranties or other packages, but between Evan and Rob in Finance, we recognized the value of a longer-term warranty for these high-tech vehicles, as well as a glass coat treatment and warranty for the exterior and interior finishes. Prince, in Vehicle Delivery, gave us a great explanation and hands-on tutorial of all the new technology in the car, very patiently answering our questions or going through a sequence a second time to be sure we understood. I've been driving the car for 3 days now, and I could not be happier. While we were hesitant to purchase a brand new car, we are very happy with the investment we have made with the style, safety and fuel economy of our 2021 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring model.
