Used dream Silverado purchase gone bad Purchased a used 2017 Chevy Silverado, after several days of driving this amazing vehicle a leak was detected in the rear pinion or axle of the truck. Purchased a used 2017 Chevy Silverado, after several days of driving this amazing vehicle a leak was detected in the rear pinion or axle of the truck. After taking it back to Manly ASAP to address the leak along with concern re: clunk/hard shifting transmission from 1-2 gear and down from 2-1, the service individual at Manly indicated Chevy may be able to help resolve under the warranty remaining quicker, took it to Chevy who indicated the leak may be a preexisting condition may not be covered but after review w/their warranty manager indicated it "SHOULD" be covered but necessarily "WILL" be covered, back to Manly and found sales rep. Jared who helped have the vehicle inspected same day, THANK YOU. After review/inspection Jared called and indicated the service team determined it was not a leak but rather the axle was seeping and that the seeping was nothing to worry about and neither with the transmission to which I commented that seep/leak to me are one in the same in that a fluid was escaping from a sealed part on the truck that should not normally leak/seep. No fix was performed or offer to fix provided on either axle seep/leak or transmission, I expressed that a truck that I just paid ~$40k for had a leak/seep, whatever, and the experience at Chevy had left me with an extremely high level of concern about the potential ongoing trouble I may experience either getting this particular issue fixed or issues in the future. Ultimately, we ended up returning the truck (within the dealers amazing 7day/250 mile return policy) to help ensure we could avoid headaches (more so w/Chevy as opposed to Manly Honda given the vehicles brand and warranty) and a troublesome vehicle as we had previously had been dealing with on our older car which prompted our purchase of this truck. During the return, in what felt like an attempt to salvage the deal we were told that another Manly employee also had a Silverado that "SEEPED" but after this was not the case or issue with a close friends truck of similar year. I would say that Jared was great, as well as Rosa in Finance. Experience with Neil was limited but also no issue in helping return the vehicle. Dealership is very nice, very busy, and would normally recommend and provide more stars but given the issue with the truck was not necessarily resolved to our liking we can only provide 2 stars but appreciative of the Dealers return policy. Surprisingly, he was never pushy at all, which I"d been concerned about as a car-buying customer (and from prior experience with other vehicles, over the years), and he was always willing to explain different features etc. to help me make the right decisions for my needs. I had extensive communication with Alex via text, for the most part, when I had left the dealership and had questions - and he was always kind, responsive, and detailed. We were able to shop all inventory and baught new 2017 dodge journey within 3 days. Total turn around was awesome and very good new begining. It was my first time buying a car from a dealership with a loan and what not. I went in on a Sunday pre-approved through my bank. But my bank didn't have a system set up with them they were able to find me financing with another bank at an even lower apr so that I would be able to take the car that day. I live pretty far away so that was really amazing. The car is amazing and they were great about answering my zillion questions and explaining everything really clearly. More

We called, car was there, and we made a same day appointment. Agent Gregory was courteous, knowledgeable, prompt, absolutely no pressure. He arranged appraisal of our car while we test drove and compared new features to our 2007 Honda . Due to Manly Honda's arrangement with our credit union, Greg set up the loan quickly. Finance Officer Rosa was also courteous, knowledgeable, good at explaining the steps. We completed the whole process in 2 1/2 hours - the easiest car purchase we have ever made. More
