Me not knowing all the ins and outs of dealership fees, I assumed the additional $6k was the standard TTL fees. It wasn't! They adjusted the vehicle purchase price to fit their profit margin, after they get a number you are happy with. I told them I would like to be closer to 35k, still thinking the fees was what increased the OTD price. Come to find out TTL was only $2600 but they increased my posted price to $33007 so what I saw was the $35k we talked about. In reality I should have been closer to $32,800 OTD. They tried to justify this by saying the vehicle has been on the market for 90+ days and they were in the hole almost 5k. Sorry, not my problem. All I asked for was a FAIR offer based on THEIR number and taxes. The original $30,399 + TTL (approx. $2600). I even offered $33,500 but after Five hours, I walked out without making a deal. Watch out for these sales tactics. Buyers Beware! More
