Refused To Sell A Lemon to The Best Dad Ever - My Story So I stop by on a Friday and discovered a 2008 Honda civic with 75K miles. It just landed as a trade in. So fresh, there wasn't a for sale label on the window. I asked to take it for a ride, All appeared fine and I made an offer, they accept and complete the paperwork. By the time we get to finance paperwork, the banks are closed so I have to return the next day. Saturday morning, as a backup plan, I visit Delta Credit Union. I got pre-approved with awesome terms, 2.9 vs. 9.9, the best deal the dealership can get me, which were good considering the age of the car at 10 years old and Gwinnett Place Honda management told me a similar aged vehicle and price led to 13% financing for a guy with a 780 score. So I visit the dealership with financing secured ready to pickup the car. Dmitry, the general sales manager and Reggie Hammond, the rep, helped the entire process. Dmitry informs me he cannot sell the car because it has an oil leak and the air condition is bad. Disappointed but also happy they refused to sell me a lemon, I asked if there was something else to consider. It was, but it was $4,000 beyond my original purchase plan. Dmitry discounted "significantly," enough to make it work for my daughter first car, a 2009 Honda Accord V6 EX-L package. A big step up from our original civic plans. My daughter finally was surprised and said it was exactly what she wanted. She is sooooooo happy, and I'm the best dad ever of course. Thanks so much Dmitry, Reggie and the team at Jackson Acura. Great experience with Reggie, terrible experience.with Kelly Met with and started experience with Dimitry Gumanov but was looking for new car and then worked with Reggie, realized that I bought my TSX from Reggi Met with and started experience with Dimitry Gumanov but was looking for new car and then worked with Reggie, realized that I bought my TSX from Reggie in 2011. Dimitry Betaboki assisted with syncing my phone book. As for Kelly, it was a terrible experience and would not purchase another car at Jackson if I had to work with Kelly (this is my third Acura from Jackson). Kelly could barely complete documents, blamed on new software; example, misspelled name, inaccurate ad valorem document she wanted me to sign anyway stating it was Jackson's problem if amount incorrect. I insisted she correct and reprint. She insisted I sign off on "delivery" document when I had not turned over chech (paid in full). Had to return to bank for another cashiers check since she initially said to sign check. My transportation left so Mike in sales loaned me a car. When I returned with new check Kelly kept me waiting 10 minutes while she was on a personal call, then said "are you waiting for me?." I had been standing outside her door with the check in my hand. More

I did not come to buy a new car so I should not hold them completely responsible for this, But I did enquire about my upgrade exact same car but latest model. But as I said I was not going to buy but only limiting my enquires to information only they did not give much value to my question and simply gave me a number that was way above my budget. Also, the dealership was not busy on sales side as there were no other customers at that time inside, but they should know there are other Acura Dealerships and other vehicle options. I did mentioned to the sales guy that I do not waste other’s time I only get interested if I myself is interested as I do not waste others time and more than I do not waste my own time if I myself is not interested, but I think the sales person was not interested , well at the end of the day it is NOT MY LOSS.
