Hello Daryl NeSmith, I would like to let you know I am a repeat customer! This is my second car, I have purchased from your dealership. First purchase was in 2010 and the process was flawless, so that is why I decided to buy another car from Jim Ellis Mazda. I have purchased over 38 personal cars and over 20 cars for friends and family. This is by far the worst car buying experience I have ever had in 30 years. First of all Rick Brown and Jim Ellis Mazda has been lying to me from day one! When I first contacted Rick Brown to purchase a 2022 Mazda3, he told me I would have to wait 6- 8 weeks for the car to arrive and I would not have to pay anything over MSRP and would not have to purchase any dealer add-ons. So I decided to come in and put a deposit down to secure the vehicle as he requested. When I came in to put the deposit down, he tells me I would need to pay for the car in "Full" so basically buy the car that is not even at the dealership yet, sight unseen! Then on top of that I would need to buy the "Paint and Fabric Protection Package" for $800 extra, if I wanted to buy the car. I told them I did not want the paint and fabric protection, but he tells me that he can give me the paint and fabric protection at the dealerships cost of $500! Reluctantly I went ahead and wrote a check for the Full Amount for the car, plus the $500 for the paint and fabric protection, as I was in need of a car. So I get a call from Rick Brown 2 months later and tells me my car has arrived! So, I went to the dealership to pick up my car and after I got home, I noticed that the optional black lug nuts and locks were not installed. This is suppose to be a dealer installed option! So instead of driving the car back to the dealership which is nearly an hour away, I decided to install them myself, since I have the tools and knowledge of installing lug nuts and locks. So I began the install process and when I got to the last wheel, one of the lug bolts break off. I was very surprised as I have never seen this happen in 30 years of car ownership. I had the wheels of the ground and used a torque wrench, so all of the lugs have the exact same torque. So now having only 4 lug nuts holding the wheel, I take the car to Mall of GA Mazda which is only a few miles away, instead of driving the car back to Jim Ellis Mazda, which is an hour away. The service manager at Mall of Ga Mazda tells me that my car, should have never left Jim Ellis Mazda without all of the optional equipment pre-installed. So I contact Jim Brown and told him what happened and he tells me that he will reimburse me for the labor cost from Mall of GA Mazda. I have been trying to get the reimbursement check from him ever since that day. He has been telling me for over a month that he will send the check, but I have not seen a check from Jim Ellis Mazda. At first he said the check will be sent out that week! The last message he sent, he said the used car manager will issue the check! Why would the used car manager issue a check for this? Anyways he has been dragging this out, when it could of been resolved in a timely manner. Plus another odd thing was I never received a "Bill of Sale" after purchasing the car. So, I reach out to Jim Brown and he tells me that he will provide me with one! A few days later I get a email with a "Buyers Order" and he tells me that this is all he has and the dealership does not provide a "Bill of Sale"! In the 30 years of buying cars I have never heard of a dealership that does not provide a "Bill of Sale" Very disappointed customer!
