Rob comes from a car family, having been raised around the car industry, thanks to his dad and grandfather. Originally from southern Virginia, he relocated to the area in 1993. He and his wife, Brittany, welcomed a boy, Kade, to their lives in 2019. Rob has a cat and two Bernedoodle puppies. In his spare time, he enjoys a good game of hockey whether he is playing or spectating.

Best Dealer Experience Ever! I leased a new 2015 CLA from Mercedes-Benz of Hagerstown at the end of February 2016. This was my first lease experience. I was a bit anxious after I leased a new 2015 CLA from Mercedes-Benz of Hagerstown at the end of February 2016. This was my first lease experience. I was a bit anxious after hearing other lease horror stories. My sales person was Rob Edmonds. Rob was wonderful to deal with. There was no heavy sales pitch just straight forward information and a real desire to match me with a vehicle I would be happy with. This was very refreshing. I had rented a CLA for a week on my last vacation so I was pretty much sold on the car before I walked into the dealer. The biggest thing for me was fitting it in my budget. This is where Austin Shemon came in. Austin explained everything about leasing to me in detail. Answered all my many question with the patience of a Saint. When it came time to sign the paperwork (the nervous part) CJ Brown made that a pleasant experience as well. Because we purchased so late in the evening we were all kind of numb and I missed asking Rob a few questions. I emailed Rob to see if he would mind if came back by the dealership to go over some items on the car. He accommodated with my crazy schedule and answered all my questions. Obviously, at this dealership, their services do not stop once the sale is made. They go the extra mile to make sure their customers are satisfied. During meeting with Rob I meet the General Manager of the dealership who took the time to introduced himself, ask if there was anything else they could do for me. I will recommend this dealership to all who ask me about my vehicle. More

Thoroughly satisfied A common weakness between me and my wife are Cars!!. We love them. We had an outstanding experience with our chicago benz dealership and I was in the market to promote myself from my CLA into something bigger. I was just not getting the right kind of dealership. I ended up in few shady dealerships. I am in Frederick, so people can guess who I am pointing to. I never realized that there is a benz dealership in hagerstown, MD. I emailed Rob, the salesperson that I wanted to come in and test ride a C300. Rob is a wonderful guy. He will listen to you patiently, very hands-on and has a good attention to detail. We first test drove C300 and then eventually took home the C450. Rob answered all my questions crystal clearly, there were times when I tested his patience , but he did not loose cool. Also, both Justin who was the General Manager and CJ who was the Financial expert were smart and fast with numbers, because I remember with my wives car, the dealership took 8 hours to get done. The only thing which probably I was little disappointed was with my trade in value, but that is something I could deal with because I presented them with my family and friends discount. Sometimes in a deal, you cannot win 10 out of 10 things, so I understand it. All in all, I will recommend this dealership for a friendly environment, great sales people. Ask for Rob for "sure" and of course amazing senior management. More

Bought a car in under 24hours We needed a car in a hurry! I found two cars worth considering at Mercedes Benz of Hagerstown Friday afernoon. Went to look at them with my husband We needed a car in a hurry! I found two cars worth considering at Mercedes Benz of Hagerstown Friday afernoon. Went to look at them with my husband Friday evening, shopped around online Saturday morning for competitors pricing, asked Rob to match the price and by Saturday we were driving home with just the car we wanted at a competitive price. Can't get better than that. Rob Edmonds was very responsive and attentive to our needs. More

I've already had a couple of my good customers tease me about getting "a Mercedes" work truck as a frivolous purchase, but, after explaining it's attributes, they respected the choice and congratulated me on the decision. And, I'm actually enjoying driving again...Utter madness! Thanks again! More

A wonderful, simple, and low stress experience! We found the vehicle using USAA. This dealership is over a two hour drive from our home. We discussed and pretty much closed the deal over e-mail and phone, primarily with Nikole Ferguson with Rob Edmonds helping out later. It very, very good experience for us, as the buyers. Ms Ferguson made this a simple and low stress experience for us. The vehicle delivery experience with Mr Edmonds was also a good experience. Both well worth a Five Star rating. More

Not the Norm How can I describe my experience? With the story. It's been 17 years since I've had a car payment, since 1999. That is not to say I haven't purchased How can I describe my experience? With the story. It's been 17 years since I've had a car payment, since 1999. That is not to say I haven't purchased a new car since then. It was just when I did purchase my last vehicle in 2006 I was blessed with the cash to pay for it outright. Thus, great anxiety accompanied my decision to purchase a new (new to me) vehicle. And, with my atypical taste in styles and brands, I wasn't the most motivated. My Saab convertible had given me 203,000 miles of enjoyable travels that included days of top down, music streaming in the sun and wind along many interstates. But the concern became whether it could deliver 100,000 more of highway driving. The Mercedes Benz GLK 350 Series caught my eye. It is a funky-looking SUV, almost like it has a personality (chuckles). And the fact that the body style had been discontinued made it even more intriguing. I like different. Poor Rob Edmonds of Mercedes Benz of Hagerstown, he didn't know what was about to hit him. Had he, he might not have approached me. But, Rob with his friendly, courteous, attentive, patient professionalism exceeded my expectations. As I conveyed my extensive criteria, asked many product and brand questions at random, I felt no pressure, no lack of sincerity. I concluded that whether I made a purchase or not, my experience at the dealership mattered. Because of this, all cynicism was placed aside. His willingness to be of assistance, timely communications and follow-through contradicted society's quick, fast and in-a-hurry. And I, for one appreciated it. I work in a deadline-driven business where there is little room to be off the mark. Consequently, equipped with info oozing out of my ears, I was able to make clear and concise decisions with no reservations. And, it did not stop with him. I soon discovered that it is the corporate culture of Mercedes Benz of Hagerstown. From the time I entered the door, I was treated like a VALUED GUEST. Thus, I would be amiss if I didn't acknowledge the friendly and welcoming demeanors of George Hatcher, Chandra Dickson, CJ Brown and the lovely lady with the teenaged daughter. This is one dealership where when I return for services and such, I will feel like I'm visiting friends. More
