I bought a 2024 GLE 450e from Mercedes-Benz of West Covina in October 2025 as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle with about 8,000 miles. During delivery, the dealership scratched the car and handwrote the r Covina in October 2025 as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle with about 8,000 miles. During delivery, the dealership scratched the car and handwrote the repair into the due bill. Since the day I bought it, the brakes have also been squealing. A few months later, after only about 1,000 miles of driving, the car went into limp mode on the highway and multiple warning lights came on. I brought it in to address that issue, the scratch repair, and the brakes. The service department said the warning lights were due to a software update for the high-voltage system, but the bigger issue was everything else. They could not find any record of the due bill for the scratch repair, and despite calling the dealership five times and leaving messages with multiple people, I never got a callback from a manager. The scratch repair was never completed. I was also told the brakes are “glazed” and that the repair would cost about $2,000. That is very hard to accept on a vehicle that passed a 140-point CPO inspection only a few months earlier, especially when the brakes have squealed since day one. It makes me question whether the inspection was done properly or whether the brake issue was ignored. I also asked for the vehicle’s service records and have still not received them. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would strongly recommend prospective buyers avoid this dealership. More

I want to share my experience so others can go in informed. Two members of the team — Joseph (Sales Manager) and Michael (Finance Manager) — made several representations during my purchase that tu informed. Two members of the team — Joseph (Sales Manager) and Michael (Finance Manager) — made several representations during my purchase that turned out to be false. Joseph told me the extended warranty covers everything, including wheel abrasions and wear and tear. He also promised dealer-cost pricing on wheel powder coating at Mercedes-Benz of Escondido. Michael told me I could service the vehicle at a San Diego Land Rover location with no deductible — and when I pushed back and asked which one, he admitted there wasn't one, but assured me Mercedes-Benz of Escondido would take care of it at no charge. He also said the warranty could be cancelled within 30–60 days for a full refund. None of this was true. Mercedes-Benz of Escondido doesn't service Range Rovers and doesn't offer powder coating. When I called Zurich, I was told many of the items I was specifically told were covered are actually excluded. I have been trying to cancel the warranty for days — calling, texting, and emailing — with zero response. To top it off, I was issued a due bill for a key fob two weeks ago that still hasn't been ordered. I don't use the word "dishonest" lightly, but I'm struggling to find another word for what happened here. Buyer beware. More

I am very frustrated with this dealership. I like my car but unfortunately I won't come back to this store again. The salesperson "Roberto" was doing his job and he was really helpful but the I like my car but unfortunately I won't come back to this store again. The salesperson "Roberto" was doing his job and he was really helpful but the sales manager "Josef" was unbelievably unprofessional. So I drove 50 minute to West Covina from Lake forest for a CLA 250, during the negotiation, "Josef" told me "$40 bucks is nothing for you based on how you dress and your shoes alone worth $400" I was confused and he said "I mean it's just a Starbucks" what kind of manager upsales like that? so I spent almost 4 hours to secure a deal. I didn't pick up the vehicle on the same day as I needed to put it under somebody else's name. I called them next day asking if it's possible for them to deliver the car down here in Lake forest, and get the signature here and I can cover the expenses including Uber etc. again Josef told me "No, our policy requires the owner in person in the store, with a attitude I don't understand". I talked to my friend who suppose to be in the deal and supposed to go in person tomorrow night to sign and pick up the car so I texted Roberto "we will come in person tomorrow at 7:30 PM" he said "Perfect" Almost 1 hour later, Ana the finance manager called me for some questions and asking if I need anything, I said "I already told Josef and Roberto, if you guys can deliver the car down here, that'd be perfect" she said "sure, let me see what we can do" Next thing you know, Josef called me with the worst attitude "I told you clearly, we don't deliver the car, if you want it that way I will reverse the deal" wow!! unbelievable! I don't understand this guy's problem and his attitude alone is the reason I make sure nobody I know ever go to that store. I answered "But.." and he goes "There's no but!" didn't even let me finish! super frustrating, disrespectful and unprofessional! I told him "Your finance manager called me and asked if I need any help" he goes "she doesn't know" like it's my problem! unbelievable level of unprofessionalism all the way. I also asked for a red ribbon/bow as it was a surprise for my wife and nobody cared about it, even though I texted them officially and asked several times.
