My wife and I were interested in a used vehicle that we noticed that Toyota of Des Moines had. When we went to get more information about the vehicle, we were met by a low pressure sales representative of noticed that Toyota of Des Moines had. Long story short, we ended up driving the vehicle home that same day because I had done research as to what the value of that vehicle was in that condition and at that mileage. I understand that business is business and I am fine with someone making a profit off of the sale of a product, but I didn’t want to feel like I was getting ripped off either. I quoted them the price that I was comfortable paying, and they agreed to that price. In the finance department we said that we wanted no additional items added or extra insurance coverage, and they listened, and didn’t try to pressure us into additional fees or coverages that we didn’t want or need. We were pre-approved and they even beat our pre-approved APR from our Credit Union. We will be considering another vehicle in six to nine months and Toyota of Des Moines will definitely be one of the first locations that we check to see if they happen to have a vehicle that meets our needs. This was a much better experience than the last time we purchased a vehicle. More
