This review is for the Dana Ford service department, not the Dana Lincoln service department. Dana Ford and Dana Lincoln are two separate departments. I have had excellent experiences with the Dana Lincoln the Dana Lincoln service department. Dana Ford and Dana Lincoln are two separate departments. I have had excellent experiences with the Dana Lincoln service department. My last service experience (August 2024) with my Ford Explorer was absolutely horrendous. I brought my Explorer in for service with an appointment on a Monday due to a rattling in the front door. Four days later on Thursday I called to ask about the status of my Explorer only to be told that the car was still waiting to be looked at. My car sat for four days unattended and the service department rep could not care less about my inconvenience of not having my car. When I did pick up the car later on Thursday, I was told that the rattling was due to items in the door pocket and the car was returned to me without further investigation. I removed all of the items from the door pocket and to this day the rattling still continues. I will not bring the car back to Dana because I don't want to lose my car again for a week and then my issue dismissed nonchalantly without being repaired. I asked to speak to the service manager who was very conveniently unavailable. Wow, a service manager who is not concerned with speaking to his customers. Up to this point, I have not received any contact from Dana regarding my latest experience with them. There is no doubt that Dana is very successful and they have some very good people. But that success was built on treating their customers right. I have done business with Dana for over 25 years and am very disappointed. Unfortunately, if Dana does not value me as a customer or my loyalty to them over many years, then maybe I need to purchase my next Explorer and Nautilus elsewhere. More
