I have over thirty years of service here at Smythe Volvo. When I started here, I was pulling weeds, dumping oil buckets and doing general facility maintenance. Eventually I progressed from a Technician to a Master Technician, Service Advisor, Service Manager then Service Director. My favorite part of working here at Smythe Volvo is that we invest our business energy into safety. Over the years, we've had many customers who survived accidents because they were in a Volvo. Additionally, we've had many police officers who come in and bought a Volvo because they've been at the scene of an accident and seen how a Volvo saved a person's life. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, specifically going for walks with my three sons.

Smythe Volvo has been my car dealer since 1978. The service department is a major factor for my loyalty. All the people I have had experience with have been considerate, friendly, and competent..I feel service department is a major factor for my loyalty. All the people I have had experience with have been considerate, friendly, and competent..I feel that the money i have spent on servicing my car has been worth the cost. My 2004' S 80 has 124,000 miles and rides very well for the age of the car. My last contact was a short time ago when I was concerned about a possible transmission problem. Service Manager Nick Pavano handled my problem and concern tactfully and assured me that my concern was not an issue of any magnitude. What a relief !!! Thanks Mr. Pavano and Smythe service. More

All employees are polite , knowledgeable, and willing to be of assistance. I feel comfortable speaking with the service people.They have serviced my car even without an appointment. The service is always timely, and I am promptly informed of any unforeseen problems. A loaner car is always available to me. Curtesy, excellent service, a loaner car and close proximitry to my home and work are priority... therefore I go to Smythe Volvo. I would recommend the dealership without any hesitation. More

We had the unusual circumstance of purchasing cars from Smythe that needed to be shipped to another state. From start to finish, we were in the expert care of Smythe's phenomenal team -- Kevin, Kristian, Sean and all the others who made the experience not only manageable but fun. They managed the paperwork, the registration, the shipping -- and the cars arrived in impeccable condition. We cannot say enough about the service and attention that Smythe paid to our situation -- during the sale and also afterward when we had several questions about different features on our cars. Sean was very helpful. He listened to my concerns and tried to get the work done quickly. Okay. We all know that taking the car to service is a huge groan. The folks at Smythe Volvo are the exception to the rule. My appointment was for first thing on a Monday morning (What was I thinking?) huge groan. The folks at Smythe Volvo are the exception to the rule. My appointment was for first thing on a Monday morning (What was I thinking?), and I'd asked for a loaner. I figured the transition was going to take a while and advised my boss I'd be late to work. To my pleasant surprise, the necessary paperwork was already prepared and organized; all I had to do was sign and hand over the key. The loaner car was fueled, ready, and waiting with the door open and the engine running; all I had to do was hop in and leave. The drop-off process could not have been smoother, more efficient, or pleasant. BTW, I was on time for work and my boss thinks I'm a genius. (Um, I flat out deny I took all the credit.) Pick-up at end of day was just as quick, except there was time for a short Q&A about the car, a bit of small talk and some fun banter. My car is purring like a kitten. What more could I possibly want? Thanks Nick, Sean, and Smythe Volvo technicians! You guys rock! More
