Bob Ferrando Ford responded

The vehicle Mr. Pontillo bought was sold here as a Certified Pre-Owned Lincoln in 2017. It was serviced here from 2017 until traded in on 08/16/2023. The vehicle went through service on 08/17/2023 and was inspected, the oil was changed, the air filter was replaced, and the multi-point inspection. On 08/18 before the vehicle was cleaned or prepped, Mr. Pontillo came in and took it for a test drive, he wanted the wheels repaired and the paint chips repaired. Mr Pontillo took delivery of the vehicle on 08/21/2023 and signed the following forms (1). "Buyers Guide" (Showing the vehicle is sold AS-IS with NO Dealer Warranty which he signed twice). (2)(Retail Purchase Agreement) which he signed and states: AS IS SOLD WITH NO WARRANTY!! AS-IS THIS MOTOR VEHICLE IS SOLD AS IS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE PURCHASER WILL BEAR THE ENTIRE EXPENSE OF REPAIRING OR CORRECTING ANY DEFECTS THAT PRESENTLY EXIST OR THAT MAY OCCUR IN THE VEHICLE) . (3). "Acknowledgement Of AS IS Sale" which states the following: "THIS MOTOR VEHICLE IS SOLD AS-IS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE PURCHASER WILL BEAR THE ENTIRE EXPENSE OF REPAIRING OR CORRECTING ANY DEFECTS THAT PRESENTLY EXIST OR THAT MAY OCCUR IN THE VEHICLE. THE DEALERSHIP EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ALL WARRANTIES, IF ANY, BY A MANUFACTURER OR SUPPLIER OTHER THAN THE DEALERSHIP ARE THEIRS, NOT THE DEALERSHIPS, AND ONLY SUCH MANUFACTURER OR OTHER SUPPLIER SHALL BE LIABLE FOR PERFORMANCE UNDER SUCH WARRANTIES. THE DEALERSHIP NEITHER ASSUMES NOR AUTHORIZES ANY OTHER PERSON TO ASSUME FOR IT ANY LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE OF THE VEHICLE. By signing below, you agree that you have read this Acknowledgement of As-ls Sale and fully understand that the vehicle is being purchased without any warranty of any kind from the Dealership. This Acknowledgement of As-ls Sale is hereby incorporated by reference into the Retail Purchase/Retail Lease Agreement." Mr. Pontillo purchased a used 2015 Lincoln MKX with 74,063 miles on it which is why it was sold AS IS and paid cash. If Mr. Pontillo would like a new car with a new car warranty or if he would like to purchase an extended service policy we can assist with that. Mr. Pontillo also traded to us a 2004 Jeep that we gave him $2964.09 on trade for. We sold the vehicle on 08/29 for $850 due to frame and rot issues making it unfit for Pennsylvania roads. sun roof did not work had to come back twice ,carpet was not cleaned right the first time,had to come back for that along with floor mat driver side bumper popped in front only had vehicle for a week who sells you a vehicle knowing back windows didnt worked and believe they gave me 2,964.09 on paper for my jeep dont let them fool you ,they gave me nothing for that jeep they are a bunch of liars,worst experience ever had with a dealership,I tried to return it on the second day I had it,what a joke they are the worst salesmen Shawn Haas and sales manager Dana Greenawalt very unprofessional and disrespectful wouldnt even let me talk to Bob Ferrando .
